why are you being uninformed? 2017 Chris Grier as gm of the miami dolphins drafted bust charles harris instead of TJ wattt. you can see it below. as for passing on will johnson, that's one player that worked out that way, but he had a habbit of both drafting and signing players who were either just coming off of a serious injury or who had injury issues starting with : Tua who was coming off of a catastrophic hip injury that wasn't healed when he was drafted, James Daniels (free agent) who played what, 4 snaps before being injured again after coming off of serious injury from pittsburgh, tyron armstead (another free agent) with availability issues, and on and on and on, liam eichenberg resigned with major availability issues and on and on and on and then the team would wonder why nobody was left at the end of the season (bradley chubb, etc.) so listen to @flasportsbuzz who has it right. avoid injury risk players, its unnecessary and not worth the risk when there are plenty of other good players without that red flag at positions of need for the dolphins for which they have needs at nearly every position.

ANALYSIS
Theme: Harbaugh's Baltimore reunion on a budget.
What went right:
Edmunds is a legit ILB upgrade over Okereke
Likely gives them a real pass-catching TE
Eluemunor re-sign locks down the OL anchor
Dead cap dropped from $35.4M to $12.6M year-over-year
What's concerning:
Still $18.6M over the cap with the draft approaching
Safety (#1 need) barely addressed
Zero trades despite max urgency score
Brian Burns contract ($34.8M cap, $55.2M dead) is an anchor
Lost more projected salary in departures than added
Path forward:
Dexter Lawrence is the obvious trade chip (+$13M savings)
Runyan ($9.2M) and remaining cuts can get them compliant
Draft is critical with 6 HIGH-need positions
2027 is the light at the end of the tunnel: $118.6M projected space, only 17 players committed
This is a bridge year.

There’s a reason defenders didn’t want anything to do with Larry Allen. That wasn’t just strength… that was freak-level power. Strongest in NFL history, and right there in the GOAT lineman conversation. Who you taking over him?
