@SharedOwnersNet@ZoeGarbett@mtpennycook it’s not just London. With SO, time is not on your side. If you don’t staircase or pass the problem onto someone else (sell) quickly enough, things get very, very difficult with rising costs, leaving you trapped. This happens all over the UK. SO is not working.
@SharedOwnersNet@mtpennycook The rings you have to jump through to prove you are an accidental landlord are ridiculous, and even after you’ve done your best to prove you are only looking to sub-let to save yourself from financial ruin, you are still at the HA’s mercy. This has got to stop.
@notabotRachel@notgwendalupe She did not change.. She was the same person the whole time.. Remember how Miranda said she saw herself in her? Whether she worked for a fashion magazine or anywhere else, she had that shrewdness (and maybe even a little ruthlessness) all along.
@loveholidays@SamFrazerknigh2 The same thing has happened to my mum. She has no money and would be left without accommodation until next week, family have had to send her money to help get her out of this situation. Will be complaining to ATOL.
@Elizabeth107107@HenryPryor I’m going through it right now, very similar circumstances to what’s been mentioned in the article, and suffering panic attacks. It’s a living nightmare.
@Elizabeth107107@HenryPryor Sorry, I don’t think I was very clear in my comment, I meant the housing association are special, for some reason they should get their share no matter what.
