پی ٹی آئی کے ایم این اے شیر افضل مروت کا حالیہ بیان نہایت سنگین ہے، جس میں انہوں نے دعویٰ کیا ہے کہ گوجرانوالہ سے جعلی ادویات خیبرپختونخوا لا کر سرکاری ہسپتالوں کو فراہم کی جا رہی ہیں۔ ماضی میں بھی صوبے کے شعبۂ صحت میں مختلف بے ضابطگیاں سامنے آ چکی ہیں، اس لیے اس معاملے کو نظرانداز نہیں کیا جا سکتا۔
میں آڈیٹر جنرل آف پاکستان، ایف آئی اے اور نیب سے مطالبہ کرتا ہوں کہ اس بیان کو سنجیدگی سے لیتے ہوئے فوری اور شفاف تحقیقات کی جائیں اور ذمہ داروں کے خلاف سخت کارروائی عمل میں لائی جائے۔

حکومت نے صرف جنگ کے 6 ہفتوں میں پٹرولیم لیوی کی مد میں 180 ارب روپے عوام سے وصول کیے ہیں جس کا پٹرول کی اصل قیمت سے کوئی تعلق نہیں ہے، 10 ماہ میں یعنی جولائی سے اپریل تک 1234 ارب روپے کا ٹیکس پٹرولیم لیوی کی مد میں عوام سے بلا استثناء وصول کیا گیا، یہ رقم گزشتہ سال کے اسی عرصے کے مقابلے میں 400 فیصد زیادہ ہے۔ اس میں طلبا بھی شامل ہیں جو ابھی نوکری نہیں کرتے اور نہایت کم آمدنی والے بائیک رائیڈرز بھی شامل ہیں۔ یعنی امیر و غریب سب پر یکساں بوجھ ڈالا گیا ہے۔ یہ ٹیکس ظلم کی بدترین شکل ہے۔ حکومت فوری طور پر یہ لیوی ختم کرے اور پٹرول کی قیمت 250 روپے فی لیٹر مقرر کی جائے۔
