When I first came across the story of Robert Smalls a few years back, I wondered how I had never heard about him and where was his Hollywood blockbuster? Using the latest AI tools, and by restoring and enhancing photos, paintings, and sketches from his era, his story could be brought to life with a level of authenticity that would have been difficult to achieve a couple months ago. A new art form is developing where new stories can be told.
We don’t have to wait on Hollywood anymore.
Presenting The Unbelievable True Life Story of Robert Smalls
As a result of a US government directive, we are suspending access to Claude Fable 5 for all users. You can continue to use all other Claude models.
Here’s what this means for you:
Across Claude products, new sessions will run on your selected default model or Opus 4.8, and existing Fable 5 sessions will end with an error.
On the Claude Platform, requests to Fable 5 will also return an error. Please update your integrations to other Claude models.
We know this is a disruption to your workflows; we appreciate your patience and support.
It’s amazing how much AI film has changed in 18 months.
Back then, you had to be creative just to tell a story. Nowadays, you need a creative story to tell.
After my documentary on Robert Smalls was picked up by @fairground_tv for distribution, I knew it was time for an update. There were so many shots where I had to compromise. 18 months ago, I was just excited to get some moving specs that kind of looked like people.
The bar has shifted. Thanks to @dreamina_ai, the most important skills is now how well you can direct a virtual camera that can do almost anything and how well you can direct what happens inside the frame. Almost the same skillset you need to create traditional film. We can literally fly into a 200-year-old image and bring history to life. The technical barriers are dropping every day. Now what do you have to say. #DreaminaCPP
@mexopolis This is disappointing to hear. Real people just lost work because this project won't happen. Amazon is not going to create a hand drawn Snow White Part II now that this show was cancelled.
Wow! I just tapped on this new button that popped up in GMail and I feel like it's the personal assistant I've always needed. Cut through all the chatter and gave me the important info I needed, found a subscription I need to cancel, and reminded me about an email I needed to reply to. Give it a shot!
Introducing Gemini Omni 🔮........ Omni is our new model that can create anything from any input — starting with video (think Nano Banana but for video). Available in the Gemini App, Flow, and YouTube, with API support coming soon!
@AIandDesign Seedance in Dreamina has been rejecting everything for me since yesterday. I finally tried to generate 'a ball rolls across the floor' and can't even do that right now.
Oh my. The wet spot left behind by Harden was either not cleaned and/or improperly so. Dean Wade wipes out seconds later and the Pistons get a crucial wide open layup as a result.
I've got no idea! lol. I have the premium plus plan. I mainly use freepik for image generation and generate videos on the native platforms. Even when I feel like I'm generating a lot of images, I think I only maxxed out once. Generating one at a time can be a pain but good besides that.
I never want to generate a 1:1 square image but for some reason @freepik always likes to sneak and change my settings back to 1:1 whenever I look away. Please stop. Why would 1:1 be the default for anyone?
Thanks! I tried to send a DM but couldn't attach a video.
It seems like this happens at other times too but I can't figure out exacly when. I'm generating images in 16:9 mode and then it switches back over to 1:1. Can't I set my own default to be 16:9 or just never have it switch on its own?
@FTFonFS1@Chris_Broussard Game 3
Pistons 26 fouls Cavs 16 fouls
Game 4
Pistons 27 fouls Cavs 15 fouls
Game 5
Pistons 26 fouls Cavs 16 fouls
After an even game 1 and 2. The refs changed. The Pistons didn't.
I first read this story in "The 48 Laws of Power" by @RobertGreene 20 years ago, and it’s never left me.
In a world obsessed with immediate wins and losses, the lesson of the "Maybe" farmer is more relevant than ever.
