@PockyRocy2 Why the knighting? Whether Kris signaled the knight to do it or they did it themselves, it would have the same effect, story-wise. But if that was the goal, why draw attention to the knight? If Kris did slash, why not play out the scene like this? There'd be a lot less debate

im sorry but of all the theories to call media illiterate why the theory where ralsei looks at kris and says this as if its really supposed to actually imply that ralsei is somehow shocked the knight would attack susie like its out of charcter or somehing

@fambramb Can I be honest? I feel Deltarune is weighed down by Undertale as the story progresses, since Kris, Susie, Ralsei, and Noelle existed beforehand-I think the others are just added and slow the story, or change the original proto-Deltarune plot significantly

@TextopOnDaTwitr i feel like the motivation and reaction is the same either way, kris knew they couldn't keep up the charade much longer so they signaled for the knight to KO everyone. it's basically the same as doing it themself

@TeyvatTia Then why did Kris kneel? I understand Kris-slash makes sense from a story perspective, but why be ominously knighted when both parties are down? Why draw attention to it? Why not just have Kris kneel on the ground alone? That would have confirmed it was them without any debate

They don't need Kris to pretend they're dead with the knight. It seems more like the knight is holding back against Kris

@NegativeSymptom Alright, maybe the name 'roaring slash' in the code doesn’t mean much, but Ralsei saying, "How could you?" is proof. Kris kneeling after the slashes already suggested moral dubiousness, but perhaps they swooned their friends, something we don’t see again, just to aura farm

@RhockoHarrison I also don’t understand this belief that Gaster can prevent the Weirdroute. I think it’s pretty clear from the start that Gaster lets us CONNECT to the world of Deltarune through his device, and he’s just the bridge between fiction and reality

@RhockoHarrison Toby specifically dislikes the idea of people playing games just to unlock 100% achievements instead of focusing on the main story. I believe the fact that the achievements ignore the Weirdroute actually shows it's game-breaking first and not really part of the narrative
