You can now find this pre-print reviewed @eLife 🤓😄 huge thanks to the editors and reviewers who took the time to evaluate our work!! While the reviews took some time, I am very pleased with the new model. Look for our revised manuscript, coming soon! https://t.co/vJS0rIqY35

So happy to celebrate Wendy Hung for passing her qualifying exam with flying colors! Woohoo for the Rutishauser Lab’s second PhD candidate! #proudPI@UCSF_EXPM@immunox
¡¡¡1 week away!!! This is a hybrid meeting so if you cannot join us in person, feel free to register!! The @ImmunoDiverse colloquia team has been working hard to bring this together! @TGFBae @mariaglxz @celestegarza55@Foreverasheley + Dara Fonseca Balladares!!
I’m excited to share our report - out now in @natBME - of a new approach to CRISPR delivery that is poised to transform the way engineered T cell therapies are manufactured. Visit https://t.co/UmTBpRE8jE for “how to” details. It’s threadin’ time! (1/11) https://t.co/MujT9iue56
Tweetorial time! We @RecursionPharma mapped consequences of #CRISPR screening of >17K human genes, found a systematic bias confounding all CRISPR screens, traced its molecular cause, and propose a debiasing algorithm.
Seeking a native Turkish-speaking grad student with media analysis experience to work with me and @JonasDraege as a Research Assistant in May-July. Project on regime-produced videos. Must be able to work in the US, but can work remotely. Please DM your email if interested.
@DrBurkePhD@biorxivpreprint@Cil_MunSandoval @racheldebarge @SpitzerLab @MarsonLab Thanks!!
I am currently applying for jobs in industry, so I might not be the right fit. But we are really excited about these Malat1 mice and the idea that this circuit could leveraged to engineer T cell responses. I would be happy to put you in contact with the lab!

Its been great working on this project and I have learned so much from all the wonderful people around me @UCSF. Very excited for what this study means about non-coding RNA in T cells and the ability to study similar phenomena using precision genetic tools like we did here. (8)
Finally, in vivo we see that memory cells from these Malat1 edited mice have signs of poor activation and decreased survival cues such as IL-2 production and Bcl2 expression. (7)
