The helicopter was the pretext to weaken Iranian defensive positions. If examined closely, the targets are mainly Iranian positions equipped with anti-ship missiles.
It is one more stage in what we have been seeing for weeks.
💥URGENT !

@agnostoxxx Thanks for sharing. Sam Altman is Machiavellian; he engineered a « too big to fail » with all his chips purchases, and ownership deals. Altavista destiny…
DDAY was an incredibly complex and an amazing military operation by the western allies that managed to land 160,000 extremely brave troops in France, but it wasn't what destroyed Nazi Germany and won WW2.
By the time Allied troops breached the "Atlantic Wall" and landed in France on June 6th, 1944, Nazi Germany had already lost the war to the Soviet Union, which had basically annihilated the Wehrmacht in the eastern front and was racing towards Berlin.
The Red Army suffered enormous losses of 8.7 to over 10 million military deaths during the Eastern Front, the Red Army was also responsible for around 80% of all German Combat casualties in WW2.
In contrast a total of 4,414 Allied troops were confirmed killed on D-Day, and approximately 200,000 to 250,000 Western Allied troops died in Western Europe fighting what was left of Nazi Germany's armed forces.
Almost 4 million Third Reich troops went into the eastern front to fight against the USSR, while by the time the western allies landed in Normandy all that was facing them were around 50,000 German soldiers.
Across the entirety of occupied France the German garrison was significantly larger, consisting of hundreds of thousands of soldiers. However most of many of them were second-tier, low-quality troops, many of whom were teenagers and senior citizens.
The western allies landing in Normandy on June 6, 1944 was not meant only to open a second front and to help the Soviets defeat Nazi Germany; a second front had already been opened with the allies invasion of Italy and the Soviets had pretty much defeated Nazi Germany at that point.
The western allies goal was never to free the whole of Europe from tyranny, because FDR and Churchill had already agreed in the 1943 Tehran conference that Stalin could and would occupy everything besides Western Europe.
The western allies main goal in D-Day was to make sure that the USSR would not overrun the WHOLE of Europe, and to make sure that at least western Europe would remain free of a Soviet occupation.
This was in fact the main reason for D-Day, because if it wasn't for D-Day, the whole of Europe would probably end up under brutal Soviet occupation,
much like the rest of Europe did.
