We commend @The_DSD & @OfficialSASSA for proactively engaging with @AuditorGen_SA to work towards a clean audit. Strengthening governance & accountability is essential to building a capable state and ensuring that social services reach those who need them most.
Today, we engaged with the office of the Auditor General of South Africa as the Department and SASSA Executives, to workout a plan and mitigation solutions that will lead to the department and its entities getting clean audit. We do this to strengthen the Call by President Cyril Ramaphosa on Building a Capable State and one of the three key priorities of the Government of National Unity.
🚨 Big news! We're thrilled to announce the launch of Social Impact Indaba — a bold new platform and gathering space driving collaboration, innovation & action for social good across Africa. 🔗 Learn more: https://t.co/EqX0QYqKcX

@michellebeesla1 @IPATC2 We'll definitely be interested in collaborating with you. Thank you for your input in driving women empowerment, indeed the future is inclusive. @OldMutualSA has hit a nail on this one, this has been in development for years with out any action.

@eNCA We've heard the same sentiments before the COVID-19 pandemic, nothing changes! Every time we're nearing elections or regime change politicians will always throw in Gender-Based Violence and women empowerment to gain scores. @PresidencyZA@CyrilRamaphosa#WomenIndaba
@BBCYaldaHakim Women across the globe are marginalized and pushed to the margins of the society. It is time for those in power to prepare themselves for the social and political emancipation of women because we're coming for everything behind that glass ceiling!
