@BestNewtype007 Heavy Turbolasers are badly misunderstood weapons. 3 ISDs with 12 each can so badly destroy a planet that it is not capable of being terraformed for decades, and can do it in hours. They will absolutely shred Imperium void shields in a close up fight or a long range snipe-fest.
@revenant_MMXX Only if you were used to imagining your perspective as if you were controlling the characters head from the back.
If your imagined perspective is that you control the head from the front, non-inverted makes more sense.
See pic.
@RhockoHarrison This scene right here is why the second one was so bad.
Bob in this one: clever, competent, capable of navigating byzantine insurance systems for others.
Bob in 2: incapable of helping his children with their homework.
@GothMilk333 I endure by working 50+ hours a week to clothe, house, and feed my wife and 6 children.
Not sure what I'd do if I were single, but it'd be toward the same goal: endure and overcome for the crown of life.
@wesleytypes@ElderScrolls@bethesda@BethesdaStudios I desperately want the "Black Marsh repelled the Oblivion Crisis on their own" stuff to be retconned out of the lore as propaganda.
You're telling me that the province that was conquered and enslaved by the Dunmer was able to fight off the forces of Hell, no problem?
@Andrewnsnyder He later tier-listed Lewis' fiction and placed Till We Have Faces in S (rightly so) and The Last Battle in C.
If his complaint about TLB is the nod towards hypothetical universalism in Emeth, surely TWHF is worse?
Makes no sense.
@Oklahoma_Brave Check the stats on the seminarian graduates for the last 30ish years; theologically progressive and politically liberal priests and bishops have failed to replicate themselves in the upcoming cohorts.
The gates of Hades have not overcome the Church.
@TexasPreacher Are you saying too many hold all of these simultaneously, or that too many hold one of these?
Cuz I've never seen anyone who holds ALL those positions.
@LetsTrustJesus@megmahan Bro has been part of an Arian cult for ~40 years; I'm gonna call flag on the play, and posit that his memory of being a 6-10 year old in Catholic grade school is distorted, and that he probably did that to himself.
@laisofealdwine What do you see as the day of judgement? And what do you see as the Paraousia that already happened?
Your takes are always interesting.
@romanhelmetguy I am super intrigued by the fact that Telemachus basically refuses to affirm her anger while affirming the thing that made her angry.
No "Yes, Queen, slay" or "Lol, shut up wahmen!"
He basically says "Yep, what do you want to do about it?"
