So far I won 4/4 Blast Gold Jackpots and earned around 21000 Blast Gold and we are far from done.

In this post we discuss about who qualifies, what the rules are, my own thoughts and my own positions + logic behind them.

It's just me rambling and typing until it stops, LFG.....

So let's start with some numbers, 300k Blast Gold is added each day to the Jackpot and until the TGE most likely there will be a total of around 8-9 M Blast Gold to win.

So far we have seen 4 Jackpots hit:

#1 @pacmoon_ -> 377k Gold
#2 @fantasy_top_ -> 148k Gold
#3 @bigonblast -> 85k Gold (6 % Jackpot)
#4 @pacmoon_ -> 966k Gold (57% Jackpot)

So each block a jackpot can hit, each token / NFT can win and when it determines a winner it also determines the size of the total Jackpot.

So the rules are laid down by @Blast_L2:

Any ERC20 token and ERC721 NFT on Blast besides WETH and USDB are eligible.

You need to add your token to the Jackpot slots (8 slots).

In general tokens have higher odds than NFTs. Different tokens and NFTs will have different weights. The factors for tokens and NFTs are:

* Holders who added the asset to their deck (more is better)
* Total number of holders
* Tokenomics/Distribution (more distributed holder base is better, fair launches are better)
* Community engagement
* Community growth
* Social strength (across DistrictOne, Twitter, Discord, etc)
* Market cap
* Liquidity
* How new a token or NFT is
* For NFTs, artwork and general collection quality/effort are also considered
*Other undisclosed factors to prevent manipulation

So let's look at the winners so far, 2 x @pacmoon_ , 1 x @fantasy_top_ & 1 x @bigonblast

What's interesting is that with @pacmoon_ it was based on your holdings of $PAC and there was no cap, similar with @fantasy_top_ which was how much FT cards you owned, they both also got a huge share of the jackpot.

$BIG @bigonblast however was different, not only did they got a smaller share of the Jackpot, but it also was less top heavy, meaning the bigger owners (whales) where capped and the smaller ones where rewarded. For example someone with 20k $ worth of $BIG got 600 Gold and someone with $ 10 worth of $BIG got 15 Gold. So there lies potential for smaller players to buy allocations in tokens that might have potential but really low marketcaps.

So how should you play this and how am I playing it? Personally I do own some NFTs, mainly Pac Rekt by @osf_rekt but overall my bets have been on tokens. I don't think people underestimate how big this is and it's easy to win, why?

Well there are only a few projects with tokens that really really qualify and most likely have the highest scores in the metrics to win, @pacmoon_ confirms this. As you all know I have been talking about $PAC since inception and they have brought most social attention to @Blast_L2 through their distribution / social farming methods. They dominate almost every space on Blast, they have the highest marketcap, good liquidity and so on, like they dominate all important things to win.

I guess that's also why @fantasy_top_ won, almost everyone is talking about it, they have gazillion users already, so many transactions, like it's insane how much eyes they have brought onto @Blast_L2 and those things matter a lot, so they most likely will win a few more Jackpots.

So my #3 pick will be $JUICE @Juice_Finance, since day 1 they have been the #1 liquidity provider for almost anything together with @ThrusterFi (which doesn't have a token yet). They have been really vocal on social media, have most likely the deepest liquidity on their token, they have one of the highest market caps and they just bring so much to the ecosystem so they are bound to win.

I do think one thing to factor is is how much Gold projects are getting already, like FT and Juice are top gold distributions, so they already got a lot of gold versus Pacmoon that god nothing as a distribution on its own. So I expect tokens that have huge distributions on its own, there might be a negative score for that, making it less easier to win.

This brings me to #4 & #5 $OLE & $YIELD, both backed by top 5 Distributions of Blast gold @DistrictOneIO @CryptoValleys, which means @Blast_L2 clearly likes them and they score high on all the metrics they like. So yeah wouldn't expect them not to win at least one time.

There are other MEME coins like $ANDY, $PUMP & $BAJA which have been around since early on, so I expect them to win as well. I picked @realpumpitcoin as one of my slots.

So based on the amount of Gold there is still up for grabs, it amazes me how low the marketcaps for tokens still are. It seems like most people are still sleeping on the opportunity of this, and especially because there most likely will be a S2 and I assume the Jackpot will be there as well.

So what I would do is, buy some:

$PAC, $JUICE, $YIELD $OLE, $PUMP, $BIG, $BAJA & $ANDY & look into NFTs and decide for yourself there, big potential winners seem to be Plutocats, Blastopians & Pac Rekt.

Also make a @fantasy_top_ account and buy some cards (jackpot is won based on amount of cards) or open a pack, you will need an invite code: Mooncat2878.

You def want to have some exposure and fill up your slots and hope to get lucky.
