Just spoke to a 2025 MBBS graduate, regarding his financials.
Earns 23k as night shift doctor in a hospital.
Father has suffered 2 heart attacks - had to take loans for his treatment.
Elder brother has an unstable job.
He feels guilty of turning 26 but not being able to help his family.
So he has taken up a day shift as well, paying him 24k.
He works 19hrs a day, nearly everyday.
Wants to do a PG but can’t, given his family’s financial situation.
I asked him - a doctor’s life is intensely hard, especially in India. You study till early 30s and work hard all your life, to earn a living. Did you know this when you wanted to become a doctor?
“Yes. I knew all of this.
But I always wanted to become a doctor. I am the first doctor in our family. My parents are so proud of me.
I just wish we were in a better financial position.”
💔
His situation broke my heart. But his attitude told me he is going to make it. Matter of time!
Hands down one of the hardest professions to pursue in India - from entry to survival.
@HCL250202 Yes. Having worked in govt hospital I can tell how Ayushman has literally changed lives. Ppl who can't earn even 100 rs a day got top class tertiary care facilities, got surgeries like knee replacement and cholecystectomy done which they couldn't hv afforded in their lives
So I remember crying so bad post INICET results on this very similar day lastyr, bt look exactly in 2 months everything got changed & m pursuing branch of my choice at a Prestigious institute!
Hold on people!
The game isn't over yet, it just began!

Definition of medical negligence & unethical practice (Indian edition):
-Bacha maar diya - jab laaye the toh bilkul theek tha
-ICU me daal diya aur mar gaya... upar se 20 logon ko andar bhi nahi jaane dete
-Discharge kar rahe hain? Abhi toh theek hi nahi hua! (govt hospital)
-2 din se admit karke rakha hai, ab toh hosh me hai - paise loot rahe hain! (pvt hosp)
-Bekaar doctor - bas diet, exercise, sleep bolta hai, dawa hi nahi deta.
-Bekaar doctor - itni saari dawa likh di... mujhe toh bas angina hai (diabetic, hypertensive, obese)
-Vaccine lagte hi chakkar aa gaya - hum pe experiment ho raha hai
-Docs ki opd fees itni zyada hogyi h ab, lootere 500 leliye mere (arrey new iphone khreedlete h)
Dr. Ramandeep Singh from GMC patiala,Punjab is facing this injustice for raising his voice against the system . This video is too painful to listen
We have already lost many doctors like him due to the negligence of the system
I request everyone to share this video as widely as possible so that it reaches the authorities who can ensure justice for Dr. Ramandeep.

Hero worshipping is a bad idea.
No individual, whether a political leader, religious leader, actor, or sportsperson, should be elevated to a god-like status and placed beyond questioning.
While working on the Indian Constitution, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar said
“In India, Bhakti or what may be called the path of devotion or hero-worship, plays a part in its politics unequalled in magnitude by the part it plays in the politics of any other country in the world. Bhakti in religion may be the road to the salvation of a soul. But in politics, Bhakti or hero-worship is a sure road to degradation and to eventual dictatorship.”
He understood the psyche of Indian people well.
"Mentally, psychologically harassment and financially extortion by MIMS Barabanki"
I, Anviksha Chandel, is a MBBS Batch 23-24 a student of Mayo Institute of Medical Sciences located at Barabaki District in UP.
What I dislike about all the examples of successful doctors given is Either 2nd Gen/Extraordinary privilege
For eg. Dr Devi Shetty- got a ‘small’ loan to start a ‘small’ 220 bed hosp by a ‘small’ construction magnate Charmakki Narayana Shetty who happened to be Father in law.
@XiaomiInd it’s been 5+ months and the Smart Pen 2nd Gen for Pad 6 is still “out of stock.” We bought your tablet but can’t use its main accessory. Please make arrangements to restock so Pad 6 users aren’t left behind. This is really unfair.

@XiaomiIndia it’s been 5+ months and the Smart Pen 2nd Gen for Pad 6 is still “out of stock.” We bought your tablet but can’t even use its main accessory. Please make arrangements to restock or provide a way for Pad 6 users to buy it. This is really unfair.
Hey @XiaomiIndia , why did you discontinue the Smart Pen 2nd Gen for Pad 6? It’s been “out of stock” for months. We bought your tablet, but the main accessory is impossible to get. This is really disappointing — feels like you abandoned Pad 6 users way too soon.
