Exploring challenges at the intersection of manufacturing, materials, computation and clean energy. (PI: Prof. Corie L. Cobb, University of Washington)
Last evening, we were proud to induct the newest class of NAI Fellows into the Academy.
The highest professional distinction awarded solely to inventors, this distinction recognizes a lifetime of innovation, impact, and leadership in invention. These scholars have not only advanced knowledge, but improved lives.
We were privileged to have Will Covey, Acting Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Acting Deputy Director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (@uspto), join us to help induct these phenomenal innovators.
The newest class of NAI Fellows includes 170 exceptional inventors from 39 U.S. states and 12 countries. Hailing from 135 research universities, governmental and non-profit research institutions worldwide, collectively they hold over 5,000 patents and their work advancing science and technology for the betterment of humanity spans disciplines.
Thank you once again to #NAIMemberInstitution @kennesawstate for presenting the Fellows Induction Ceremony at #NAI2025!
It is an honor for us to welcome the newest class of NAI Fellows into the Academy. Congratulations to our new Fellows!
