We cannot allow men in high heels and skirts to indoctrinate North Carolina’s children.
We must have safe kids and safe communities. Cooper will allow these predators into our schools to prey on 6 year olds.
We have exciting news: Yesterday, the North Carolina General Assembly passed two of the most sweeping elections bills in recent history.
Those bills (HB958 and HB834) will help to ensure that the law gives every eligible voter the right and ability to cast a ballot and to ensure that the votes cast will be counted accurately.
We have worked tirelessly to ensure that this legislation reflects the values and priorities of North Carolina families— so that election laws ensure that only eligible voters vote and the accuracy of election results are protected. Now, the legislation heads to Governor Stein for consideration.

NC General Statute § 115C-76.55 prohibits instruction on gender identity in grades K–4, regardless of whether the information is provided by school personnel or third parties.
Is hiring a transgender elementary teacher an attempt by WCPSS to circumvent that law?
Our youngest students should be learning to read, write, and do math—not being confused by a teacher or compelled to call a man a woman.
This is about protecting young children from confusion and respecting parents' fundamental right to direct the upbringing of their children.
#WCPSS should respect parental rights and ensure classrooms remain focused on academics, not gender ideology.

Today, the Supreme Court reaffirmed states' authority to protect women's sports, women's spaces, and women's safety—an approach many states have already embraced.
North Carolina has taken an important step by protecting women's sports, but it has yet to extend those protections to private spaces such as bathrooms and locker rooms. It's time for the General Assembly to take that next step, because women and girls deserve safety, privacy, and dignity.

Today, the Supreme Court of the United States issued a landmark ruling in two cases — West Virginia v. B.P.J. and Little v. Hecox — holding that states may lawfully require student athletes to compete on sports teams consistent with their biological sex, and that such laws do not violate Title IX or the Equal Protection Clause.
NC Values Coalition Executive Director Tami Fitzgerald said, “Today, the highest court confirmed what female athletes, parents, and coaches have always known: women’s sports exist to give women a fair and safe chance to compete. That principle is the entire foundation of Title IX. This decision means that North Carolina’s law which guarantees fairness and safety for women and girls in athletic competition will be upheld as constitutional. This is a great day for women and girls in North Carolina and across our nation. We'd like to give a special thank you to all the women and girls who were brave enough to take a stand, including our dear friend Payton McNabb.”

Laura Lindsey is the Chair of the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners and mother to a 17-year-old daughter in public school in Cabarrus County. She is concerned for the safety of her daughter - and all daughters in the county she serves - because boys are currently accessing girls’ bathrooms in the public schools.
Her local school board is refusing to fix the problem. Yesterday, the US Department of Education opened an investigation into Cabarrus County for violating Title IX protections of women’s private spaces. Now, she is asking lawmakers to step up and Protect Our Daughters.

I spoke on the House floor to mark the 4th anniversary of the Supreme Court’s historic decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.
Four years after Dobbs, the fight for life is not finished.
Congress must continue to defend the sanctity of every human life.
It’s not too late. Please take 30 seconds right now to ask your legislators to protect our girls in private spaces. 22 states have already done this. NC needs to step up.

On today’s 54th anniversary of Title IX, the Trump Administration is making clear that we will not back down from protecting women and girls.
Today, @usedgov opened four investigations in Maryland for alleged violations of the law.
Anita Leis has twin daughters – Ruby and June – in Buncombe County Schools. When Ruby was in 9th grade, she encountered a boy in the girls’ bathroom at her public high school. She asked him why he was in the bathroom, and he intimidated her into leaving. With no time left before class, she had to wait another 90 minutes to go to the bathroom in safety and privacy.
School administrators sympathized with Ruby, but said they could do nothing since allowing boys to use the girls’ bathroom was the official policy of Buncombe County Schools’ Board of Education. Anita is asking legislators to do what the local school board will not: protect her daughters in bathrooms and locker rooms.

A 9th grade girl spoke to us anonymously about encountering a boy in the girls' bathroom in her public high school in Buncombe County. Not only was this uncomfortable and confusing, but she also fears backlash from administrators and peers for speaking out about it. She is asking NC legislators to pass a law to protect her safety and privacy in bathrooms and locker rooms at school.
If you or your daughter live in NC and have encountered a boy in a girls’ private space such as a bathroom or locker room in a public school, university, rape crisis center, or prison - please contact us to share your story and help make a change.

The Department of Education is a pass-through entity for federal dollars.
It doesn’t educate a single student or hire a single teacher.
The money it sends to states for education can be sent directly, without waste.
OPINION | Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools just turned a painted spirit rock into a $95,000 civics lesson, after settling a lawsuit over Ardrey Kell High School’s decision to erase a student’s tribute to Charlie Kirk.

🚨 @EDSecMcMahon is breaking up the education bureaucracy in D.C. and returning educational responsibility to state and local leaders…and ultimately parents!
The true measure of any education system is whether it puts children and families first. Parents of children with disabilities should not have to spend years fighting layers of red tape to receive services guaranteed under federal law. We know that no one understands a child’s needs better than their parents, and no one fights harder for their success.
Moms for Liberty supports Secretary McMahon’s decision to strengthen services, reduce bureaucratic barriers, and ensure families can access the support their children are guaranteed under the law. These partnerships with HHS and DOJ will respect parental authority and ensure children receive the educational opportunities they deserve.

Dads are called to protect. Moms and dads are strongest when they stand together.
Hear from one of our own, Bill Brewer, Moms for Liberty - Wisconsin Ambassador, as he shares his message on the importance of fathers.
Buncombe County Schools is the 2nd NC district to land under federal investigation over its bathroom policies, as the US Department of Education mounts a campaign to keep transgender students out of facilities that don’t match their birth sex.
