@RealisticKnick@worldranking_ She went and got a law degree, which few people have capacity to do - she will do just fine. She'd be a great legal advisor, advocate or lobbyist for social issues - many that frankly hold folks with disabilities back with stigma and ignorance... proving your point!
@vibrantdad I'm redoing my kitchen. I have an almost 30 year old Frigidaire fridge that has NEVER needed to be fixed. It sometimes however sounds like a tractor (compressor). I started researching reviews & asking friends - literally the more expensive they get the more service they need
@TrancenowNet @naturelifeok1 We don't feed our dog grapes for that reason & have grape vines in backyard, not accessible to the dog. However, we have a family of healthy raccoons who live in our large Maple tree & each year they proceed to eat the grapes & my rhubarb (of which the leaves are poisonous). ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ
@Styles1125@TMQuirk@atrupar Respectfully Darren, she's right and you are confusing MINIMUM wage with AVERAGE wage.... before you jump in a conversation you need to get the facts straight and understand the difference!
@MeInMyHammock@Gavincalifornia@GaryBoylen1@GarrettHaake Thank you Jennie!
As a retired business prof and Canadian, it is driving me crazy that folks, including Trump, can't understand a trade deficit. It's basic economics and supply & demand factors. Sadly, people resort to uninformed sources.... and believe or worse repeat them!!!
@PETEandrepete_@adryenn@Angry_Staffer Well said, I've been saying something similar .... but sadly it is very much "lights on and nobody home".... it should be mandatory that everyone who wants to vote has taken grade 8 economics! Yup - that's when it is taught here ๐จ๐ฆ
@DMOT2015 @clairlemon Billy, there is nothing to be bewildered about "don't do unto others what you don't want done to you!" Takes a lot to rile Canadians, but shessh the whole world is pissed at America right now! And you're asking why?
@sunoxen@Twitchyichabod@clairlemon Really, then tag them into this conversation! I'm here for what they'd have to say about you and your Canadians have an inferiority complex narrative....
@sunoxen@CasperDahl9@_Me_Three@clairlemon Then why may I ask do you live in Switzerland? Or state that you do?
Something isn't adding up with your comments Mr. Robinson!
@Nljigakulive@atrupar You-correct with all of that! Canada is more of a resource based country & trading with Canada makes sense when you can get those resources cheaper to produce for your country's consumers at lower cost. Especially when it costs less to transport north to south than east to west
@DannyZapat13634 Florida is a nice place. I go to the states all the time for work, but it literally costs us less to vacation in Europe & Mexico. And I have US clients saying European & ๐จ๐ฆ tourism is down & is hurting THEM - that's not a good thing for the US.People will go where they can afford
@DannyZapat13634 Bro, it was snowing in Florida - ever been to British Columbia - last week we were in tshirts (granted we got snow today) And it is cheaper to fly & and stay in Europe than Florida
@ob1n152952 Look up where you get fresh water from! US is the largest importer of water in the world - Canada has a lot of the sustainable fresh water and a lot of it is sent to the US - as water and hydro. You can build production, it's impossible to build natural resources...
@gknot1010@BRICSinfo The largest importer of water in the world is๐บ๐ธ - ๐จ๐ฆ has the third largest renewable source of fresh water in the ๐ try living without fresh water & the energy we send. You can build production facilities, you can't sustainable resources. Fair trade makes sense to both!
@RandyFisher875@meet_kel_caine @chronos_magnus @itsdeaann It's not all about "making things", production isn't the full equation - ๐จ๐ฆhas more natural resources, think water for example. We have more fresh water - you have the demand. ๐บ๐ฒis the largest importer of water in the world. Trading based on supply & demand makes economic sense
@Bentstrickland @Halfkoreanbody1@Brandon_Fuego @IceNine60 Canada has over 20% of the world's surface fresh water and the US is the largest importer of water i the world ... this is going to be a bigger and bigger bargaining chip in the future. It won't be produced items but demand for natural resources...
