But if all content were free tiktok would still wipe the floor with everything. It is still actually quite easy to read long form content for free - libraries, unpaywalled periodicals

@chuckchickenses @Nogooooodnick @DaveNumber7 Unfortunately TikTok is popular because people want it. You actually can read a number of stories articles for free per month with a Google account. No one does though. You can read periodicals for free in most libraries.

It was through those same lobbies that our forebears divided on Home Rule, on the Parliament Act on (many) Representation of the People Acts. Its good for MPs to feel that history.
