Formerly ‘InTheEarlyYears’. Obsessed with process, making, documentation, and personal inquiry. Embarking on a new journey as an MYP Design&Technology teacher!
For #LGBTQ+ #pride in our elementary school, another teacher and I have come up with some Inquiry Inspirations, Resources, and Social Justice Standards for the month. Our theme for this year's pride is #representation https://t.co/e3XrQIOrzR
Some joy for today… here are more ANHPI Month art installation progress shots from our SJC meeting today, featuring the petition tracker in the background! #IBwillyoustandwithme
Can you guess who and where we took inspiration for our art?

International educators, this is your call to action. LGBTQ+ people exist, and the IBO operates in contexts where queer & trans students are not safe or free from discrimination (and worse).

@QueerlyAutistic I avoided all those foods (wheat, soy, nuts, etc), and I have not had a migraine for months.. the longest I’ve ever gone without a migraine in my life and not one time was I ever suggested it could be an allergic reaction!!!
@QueerlyAutistic Omg this is me. I’ve had migraines for my entire life (I’m 35), only diagnosed with ‘chronic migraine’ & ‘complicated migraine’ recently. Been to too many doctors, all kinds. & guess what! I took an AT HOME ALLERGY TEST from a pharmacy and I’m allergic to so many foods!
As a keynote speaker for our staff Professional Learning day, @michaelinschool introduced how the juxtaposition of race and gender can be a useful strategy for promoting critical reflection and discussion of school practices. (2 of 3)
I'm excited to be speaking at Outstanding Schools Europe 2023!
I’ll be discussing how European international schools can better support and affirm LGBTQ+ students.
Take a look at the event and register to join me there: https://t.co/G6wKP0dCq5

An honor for @KNaglee and I to get to document some of the incredible insight from this student group.
How are students informing your idea of what makes for a 'successful' team?
