Btw, there are MANY Americans just like me who are well-educated and successful who have had a similar response to your spiraling crashout over Vivek not being able to pick up a kid. But instead of honestly evaluating why a native population of well-educated, successful white Americans are not happy with the fact that a trillion Indians have been brought to our homeland against our will, you instead chose to attack us and defend the people who you share the same ancestral lineage and native homeland with (shocker!). “Defaulting to factory settings” actually perfectly captures what happened to you over the past week.

You’re probably the “most assimilated” Indian in America (of all time, second-to-none), but you can’t quite get over your in-group preference toward other Indians when push comes to shove, especially when it’s the white Americans who’s ancestors built this country doing the pushing and the shoving.
