AIESL is due for sale by Govt and is being divested but it hasn't happened yet. Technically, it is still govt owned and Air India use their services for most of their planes.

So many Indians will stop having jalebis, cakes, ice-cream but their diabetes does not go away.

One of the main causes of diabetes is not eating sweets, but actually eating a high-carbohydrate and low-protein diet.

Savory (salty) foods like roti, rice, upma, thepla, khakra can also contribute to diabetes since they are carbohydrates.

Let us all make Indians aware that while diabetes is called “sugar”, it is more of a "high-carbohydrate" and "low protein" problem rather than a “sweet-tooth” problem.
