@hey_aditiiii As engineers, we wouldn't ship critical infrastructure without fail safes and circuit breakers. Superintelligence shouldn't get an exemption just because the benchmark demos look impressive.

We haven't mastered basic cybersecurity hygiene yet, let alone autonomous superintelligence.

As an engineer, I don’t think the world is fully prepared for Superintelligence—at least not yet.

The challenge isn’t simply whether we can build it. It’s whether our laws, institutions, cybersecurity, education, infrastructure, and ethical frameworks can keep pace with something potentially far more capable than humans in many domains.

We are still learning how to manage today’s AI systems responsibly. Giving a much more powerful system greater autonomy without strong safeguards could create risks we don’t yet know how to handle.

The question isn’t only “Can we build superintelligence?” It’s “Are we mature enough to control what we build?”
