@EuroSPE #obesityESPE It would be good to discuss weight gain in schools so that children and parents are aware. It would be important to take away the stigma with weight gain but recognise this as a health problem. We need to stop blame but work with teens and their parents

@EuroSPE #obesityESPE Even at referral, doctors and General paediatricians don’t have the resources to tackle weight gain in the early stages. By the time a referral is made to an endocrinologist, a number of complications have already happened.
