On the closing ceremony of #UNCCDCOP14, @ibrahimthiaw, Executive Secretary @UNCCD, expressed his gratitude for vision and wisdom granted by the host country. He shared his contentment with the President #COP14, Shri @PrakashJavdekar and believes to continue to work together.

New Delhi Declaration got adopted in #UNCCDCOP14. The implementation of HLS summaries & decisions that were taken during sessions & contemplative meetings were held. Shri @PrakashJavdekar, President #COP14 concluded the conference with hopeful statement- "Ending with Resolve."

Shri @PrakashJavdekar supervised the official proceedings in which the distinguished delegates took part in formalizing the New Delhi Declaration. The overview of the draft decisions were put to discussion in front of the representatives of the parties.

The committee of the whole initiated the draft proposal process in the presence of the distinguished delegates. The draft decision were finalized after collective agreement of the committee members.

The closing day witnessed final press conference and sessions to conclude a highly productive 11-Day Global meet. In the closing ceremony, New Delhi Declaration got adopted which incorporates frameworks and work programme decided during 2-13 September of #UNCCDCOP14

An interactive session with Mr Anil Kumar Jain, Special Secretary @moefcc, explored the possibility of adopting new technology. He emphasised on the importance of preparing the integrated nexus model for the suggested solution before investing to rectify the limitations.
