🇸🇩 A defected RSF field commander said at a press conference in Khartoum Wednesday that the UAE is providing full military and logistical support to the Rapid Support Forces, including drones, weapons, ammunition, combat vehicles, training, and medical treatment for wounded RSF leadership from the Dagalo family.
Ali al-Tayeb Muhammad Musa, who said he received training at UAE camps alongside other RSF fighters, said supply flights depart from the UAE to airports in Libya, Chad, and Somalia before reaching Darfur — with the same routes used in reverse. He said new supply routes through Ethiopian airports have emerged recently.
He also confirmed the presence of foreign mercenaries fighting alongside RSF, including Colombian nationals.
On the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Plassey, the notion that British rule was on the verge of collapse was gaining strength. Around that time, voices of opposition began to rise among the sepoys against the greased cartridges that defiled their religion. This outcry exploded with Mangal Pandey's shot at Barrackpore cantonment. The spark of 'Sepoy Mutiny' ignited by his bullet turned into the blaze of 'People's Revolution.'
On May 10, 1857, in Meerut, the rebels hoisted the flag of revolution, killed the British officers, and freed their imprisoned fellow soldiers . They marched to Delhi and, upon reaching the Red Fort, proclaimed Bahadur Shah Zafar as the Emperor of Hindustan.
Under the leadership of skilled warriors like Rani Lakshmibai, Begum Hazrat Mahal, Nana Sahib, Veer Kunwar Singh, Bakht Khan, Tantya Tope, and Maulvi Ahmadullah, this revolution spread rapidly. Its main strength lay in 'Hindu-Muslim unity.'
Ultimately, British imperialism unleashed its full might, devastating nearly all centers of the revolution and crushing it. The cruel foreigners beheaded Bahadur Shah Zafar's sons and served their heads on a platter before him. Everywhere, the brutality of foreign rule echoed with savage laughter.
Yet, this revolution, for the first time, forged unity against British rule across different regions of the country. It laid the cornerstone for shaping the national character of the freedom struggle. Today, on the anniversary of the historic uprising of 1857, we pay our heartfelt tributes to all valiant leaders.
"New testimonies from released Palestinian detainees from Israeli prisons confirm that Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya is being slowly executed and is subjected to harsher torture than other detainees.
According to the testimonies, he is repeatedly interrogated, beaten, and humiliated in the most degrading forms. In many cases, he has been stripped naked and dogs have been used to attack him. He is forced, under torture, to repeat insults and degrading words about himself. He is suffering from constant vomiting and is being denied basic treatment..."

VIDEO | Footage released by Israel on 24 April shows six besieged Lebanese resistance fighters who had barricaded themselves inside a building in Bint Jbeil, holding their positions and engaging in close-quarters clashes with Israeli paratroopers, resulting in Israeli casualties.
After failing to kill them through face-to-face combat and sustained ground fire, the army escalated with rifles, tank shells, and explosive drones used in tandem, before ultimately calling in a final airstrike that destroyed the building, as the fighters remained steadfast and fought until the very end.
The Heavy Psychological Warfare to Weaken Iran in the Negotiations
Donald Trump’s temperament is well known to both the American public and the world.
His statements often follow the principle of subverting established truths, using a rhetoric that, most of the time, sounds incoherent or exaggerated, in his view, reality must adapt to his style.
But that does not mean that, among these statements, there are no carefully crafted messages guided by psychological warfare specialists, an area in which the Pentagon has historically had top-tier professionals.
Peace proposals were exchanged and rejected in the first round in a deliberate manner, with the clear aim of creating confusion and buying time without making it too obvious.
It is necessary to examine the Iranian negotiators’ position very carefully, as well as how the markets and the lives of billions of people react to every statement or silence from them.
First and foremost, it is important to remember: in this scenario, there is no concrete proof of anything. Everything is assessed through behaviors, actions, and outcomes that raise suspicions that an operation of this kind is underway, and today it certainly is.
Notice how often it leaks to the international media and social media channels that Iran “is very close to an agreement.”
However, when you look at the leaked terms, they are selective and do not match the main negotiating agenda. This information reaches the Iranian command, which immediately asks the negotiators if it is true. Imagine the level of nervousness during a period of war. This tactic is classic and widely used.
Another clear strategy worth observing is the talks in Islamabad. Trump’s delegation, led by JD Vance, adopts a respectful and even cordial tone with the Araghchi and Ghalibaf, while maintaining a harsh rhetoric of annihilation against the IRGC.
This creates the public perception that there are two paths: Prosperity alongside the politicians and destruction alongside the military.
Publicly, this forces Iranian politicians to try to demonstrate control over the military, control that, in practice, they do not actually have, generating internal friction.
The US imposes extremely heavy sanctions on companies linked to the IRGC, but at the same time signals that it could ease restrictions on economic sectors defended by the Parliament.
Once again, the goal is to create division.
Trump often publicly praises the intelligence of certain Iranian negotiators. For a negotiator in wartime, receiving a public compliment from Trump is almost a shot in the foot. And so the psychological war advances, step by step.
I only know Ghalibaf and Araghchi through the roles they are playing in this crisis, and I know that Ghalibaf has strong historical ties to the IRGC.
It is exactly at this point that I want to arrive.
When we study the history of political relations in times of war, we see a clear pattern: no matter how much influence or loyalty someone has, the moment that person becomes a negotiator, starts having direct contact with the enemy, and their actions begin to appear, even minimally, favorable to the other side, distrust sets in quickly.

And yet Dalrymple is still unwilling to confront the reality that Jewish supremacism is a global threat to civilisation and must be urgently extinguished.

It's more than a communication gap. As I've said before, from the start of the process Araghchi has been running a parallel policy to rush through an agreement that suits the Americans while hiding the actual terms from the NSC and the Beit.
That's what he did with the Ten Points, cooking up a lie to the NSC and the Beit that Trump had agreed to the Ten Points set by Sayyed Mujtaba. This was a very obvious lie, and should have been caught by the IRGC. He had in fact given a very different Ten Points to the Americans, which then became the basis for the Islamabad talks.
Hence some Iranian negotiators were surprised by the maximalist demands being made by the Americans in Islamabad (including financial control of the Strait, which Araghchi was ready to sign over). Araghchi and Asim Munir's hucksterism had convinced other Iranian negotiators they were going to Islamabad to fix an agreement in which the Americans understood they had lost the war. Instead, they were met with an American delegation (encouraged by the Pakistanis) who thought they were there to take Iran's highly enriched uranium and to permanently shut down Iran's enrichment and all its nuclear sites, effectively killing the civilian nuclear programme and its independence.
But Araghchi's lies could only persist for so long, and now they've caught up with him. Throughout the process, he has worked hard to sideline senior IRGC figures (and inexplicably, succeeded) from the talks. His motivations in attempting this bloody coup — which has costs the lives of hundreds of Lebanese when he failed to get a ceasefire agreement agreed formally in writing — are hotly debated, but presidential ambitions are believed to be one of the causes.
The system, too, has its share of the blame for covering up his behaviour and encouraging him by refusing to clip his wings. It is now time for the IRGC to establish control of the process. But this has come far too late and at too high a cost. The Americans are now left wondering who is in charge and who even has the authority to make an agreement.
Iran has been consistently denied access to a modern air force by both Russia and China. However, current indications suggest that the Russians may be reconsidering their positions in future.
This goes way beyond India.
Australia, Canada, and nearly the entire West are struggling to look beyond conventional warfare.
Countries that are spending fortunes on large warships today may be investing heavily in something increasingly risky.
I believe smaller vessels with hybrid propulsion and three times the range will gain significant ground, while affordable solid-state battery-powered submarines and UUVs are poised to dominate naval warfare.
We are already heading toward a future where autonomous drones will operate in the skies, going far beyond reconnaissance.
They will engage in high-altitude air combat, striking fighter jets from above with missiles that have significantly longer ranges than those available today.
We are witnessing the emergence of a entirely new kind of warfare, but most countries have not yet realized it.
They are still trapped in old, conventional thinking.
