पाकिस्तान मंगलवार (1 जुलाई 2025) को संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद (UNSC) का अध्यक्ष बन गया है. पाकिस्तान इसी साल जनवरी में संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद का अस्थायी सदस्य चुना गया था. परिषद की अध्यक्षता इसके 15 सदस्य देशों के बीच बदलती रहती है. इस परिषद में 5 स्थायी सदस्य के अलावा 10 -10 अस्थायी सदस्य होते हैं. पाकिस्तान को 193 में से 182 वोट मिले थे.

यहां के बच्चे इनोवेटर की जगह ट्रेडर्स को आदर्श मान रहे हैं, ट्रेडिंग सीख रहे हैं — क्योंकि नया कुछ करने के लिए सरकार ने खुद कोई ठोस उद्यम ही नहीं किया.

भारत में तो शिक्षा की बुनियादी नींव — यानी स्कूल — जो हर समाज की मूलभूत ज़रूरत होते हैं, हज़ारों की संख्या में बंद किए जा रहे हैं.

ऐसे में अनुसंधान और क्रिटिकल थिंकिंग तो बहुत दूर की कौड़ी हो गई है.
