One of the significant milestones of my leadership at the Energy Commission of Nigeria is the successful solarisation of the Commission’s headquarters with a 1 MW solar power system. This investment has transformed our power supply, enabling the Commission to operate independently of the national grid.
Today, our headquarters runs entirely on solar energy, eliminating the need for diesel generators and demonstrating the practical benefits of clean energy adoption.
I commend President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his Renewed Hope Agenda and commitment to advancing renewable energy development across Nigeria. Through the Commission’s solarisation projects, we are translating this national vision into tangible results, leading by example and demonstrating that a cleaner, more reliable and sustainable energy future is achievable.

I held a high-level strategic meeting with Mark Tatum, Deputy Commissioner of the NBA, at the NBA’s corporate headquarters. Our engagement centred on advancing Nigerian basketball through institutional partnerships, global best practices, elite player development, and stronger pathways for Nigerian talent to thrive on the international stage.
As President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation (@nbbfonline), I remain committed to positioning Nigerian basketball for sustained excellence through purposeful leadership, strategic alliances, and a clear long-term vision. We are building not merely for participation, but for competitiveness, podium finishes, and a lasting legacy.

Alexis #Saelemaekers' injury is a significant blow for both the player and #ACMilan.
He had been an important part of the squad, and his absence will certainly be felt.
Wishing Alexis a full and speedy recovery. Come back stronger than ever.
If the reports are true that #Amorim is working on a back four for the #Sassuolo game, then it tells me one thing: he's determined to succeed at #ACMilan.
A coach who is willing to adapt instead of being stubborn gives his team a better chance of winning.
If Milan can comfortably switch between a back three and a back four this season, we'll become a far more unpredictable and dangerous side.
It's still just a report for now, so let's wait and see how it unfolds.
🚨💰 AC Milan could sign Endrick for €40M, with Real Madrid retaining a €50M BUYBACK clause.
The clubs are considering a Brahim Díaz-style deal: a January loan with a €35–40M purchase option for Milan and a €45–50M buyback option for Madrid.

I have unveiled my manifesto for the presidency of the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), setting out a clear vision for a more united, professionally governed and commercially sustainable basketball ecosystem.
My vision is anchored on leadership, accountability, investment and measurable results. It focuses on stronger institutions, vibrant domestic leagues, grassroots development, players’ welfare, coach and officials’ development, and sustained success for our national teams.
Nigerian basketball deserves more than promises. It needs clear strategy, effective administration, strategic partnerships and leadership that puts the game and its people first. Every talent, from the community courts to the international stage, must have an opportunity to grow and excel.
Beyond the court, basketball can drive youth empowerment, social inclusion, national unity and economic opportunity. We must build a system that attracts investment, inspires confidence and leaves a lasting legacy.
As I seek this responsibility, my commitment remains clear: to unite the basketball family, strengthen the institution and move Nigerian basketball from potential to podium.
Together, let us ARISE to a new dawn for Nigerian basketball.

As it stands, I think Michael Olise deserves to be in the Ballon d'Or conversation.
The level he's maintained since the start of the 2025/26 season for both club and country till date has been exceptional.
Whether it's goals, creativity or his overall influence on matches, he's consistently delivered at the highest level.
He may not be the favourite yet, but I don't think his name should be left out of the conversation.
🚨🧠 Moreira pushing Amorim towards a 4-2-3-1
The Milan coach is studying how to give Diego Moreira a fixed place in the XI without upsetting the team’s balance.
A switch to 4-2-3-1 could be the solution, allowing Moreira to play higher up on the left rather than as a wing-back.
