TLDR; At the end of July 2023, I had a very surreal experience driving southeast on highway 70, Northwest of and towards Lordsburg, New Mexico, after midnight. I saw a large, strange, hairless creature that appeared to be limping alongside the highway. The moment I noticed it, I gasped/screamed. The more I looked at it, the stranger it became and as I drove past, my body covered in chills. The way it was moving looked less like limping and more like it was learning to walk.
Even though the excerpt above is the juicy part, there are other details that have made this whole experience stick in my mind ever since. Obsessing has lead me to hours of online research and, ultimately, here. Hopefully, I can get some information on any part that still leaves me questioning, because I have a lot of questions. The sighting is in the next part of the thread if you want to skip to that, otherwise bear with me through 4 paragraphs of exposition.
My fiancé(32f) and I(38m) decided to take her two boys (8/9) on an end of summer vacation from Arizona to various parts of New Mexico. We had planned the whole trip to conclude before school started back up. However, a week before the trip we found out they needed to be back sooner to meet their teachers. So, last minute, I rescheduled hotels and other reservations to accommodate. The nice relaxing trip I had planned turned into a couple of long drives and late nights in order to cram everything in.
The night of the trip arrives. We have to wait for my fiancé to get home from work around 6pm. Once home, we pack the car, eat and do some last minute preparations. The sun had already began to set by the time we left.
Being born and raised in AZ, then moving to Austin, Texas for a few years, I have traveled to and through New Mexico many times. My general route was to take I-10. Now living on the East side of the valley, in eastern Mesa, the map app on my phone suggested that I drive out of eastern Arizona to save 20 minutes on our first leg to Las Cruces, rather than heading west back toward I-10. I was going to be traveling late into the night, so I figured the sooner we got there, the better.
We embark on our journey and it’s business as usual. Stopping for everyone to pee and snack etc. Then as night goes on, the boys start fighting in the back seat because they are both awake long after their bedtime. We are somewhere in the far east side of Arizona when we have to stop so that the oldest can switch seats with my fiancé just to separate the boys long enough for them to fall asleep.
We cross into New Mexico when the first odd thing happens. The land is flat, so, from pretty far away, we see red and blue flashing lights ahead of us. As we approach I naturally slow down, until I realize that the car with lights is stopped in the road ahead of us, making me slow down even more to a near stop. Almost as I would have had to completely stop, the car moves off of the road to let me pass. There are two more cars with lights on top on the right and another car and truck with lights on the left. Four or five men stood outside, all with bulletproof vests. None of the cars were marked with any words, nor the men. The thing that made this encounter even more odd was a 6 foot tall black pole with a T shape that they had set up in the middle of the street with several white lights that ran up and down it.
My oldest asks me, “what is that thing?”
To which I reply, “it looks like a scanner.”
“What are they looking for?”
“Aliens.”
“I want to see an alien.”
“Me too!”
I feel I have to clarify… On this trip to New Mexico, one of our planned stops is Roswell. So my response in saying ‘aliens’, is just me trying to get my future step son excited kabout this trip, with the added benefit of laughing to myself about the possibility that this was border patrol looking for illegal immigrants.
@HanKling10@C_3C_3 The original post suggests that no one had the regular flu those years because every sickness was reported as Covid to boost the numbers to help lead to lockdowns. Covid was fatal to high risk individuals, but so is the flu…
@HanKling10@C_3C_3 Dr Fauci originally denied any funding to Wuhan, when in fact $3.7 million had been sent in the few years leading up to the outbreak. Now why would he deny it?
@HanKling10@C_3C_3 The American government created a real virus that spread across the globe. If by collaboration you mean collective suffering, then yes.
