This week my colleagues and I will have to leave more than an hour earlier than usual, on top of working 12.5 hours - merely because of the @TfL strikes. You should be ashamed. Let’s see how many sick people end up being unable to get to hospital due to these strikes! @BBCNews
The @TfL strikes stop healthcare workers getting to work. They create mass traffic on the roads, slowing down ambulances. Where is the guilt tripping for them? Why can they strike with no blame, yet healthcare workers are made to feel like neglectful criminals. @BBCNews@itvnews
When Nurses and Doctors strike, the news is all about how many people will die/the strain it will put on the hospital. Where are these comments when @TfL decide to strike and therefore prevent loads of healthcare workers being able to get into work! @BBCNews@itvnews
@spacegoods_co WORST COMPANY EVER. Website glitched so ordered a flavour I am severely allergic to and added an address that doesn’t exist. Emailed to cancel within the minute of order confirmation and they they won’t cancel or refund. Just want to take your money. Awful service.
My sister is a teacher, she has 3 kids. She works before work and after work and still makes time to be the most wonderful mum to my niece and nephews - she needs balance. She needs to have those moments to be a mum. We all need to have time to just be us and not our job role.
Still so fuming. As a Nurse working 12.5 hour shifts, I NEED work life balance. The job can be emotionally and physically draining but no, I don’t hate my job, I love it but to be able to still care for patients and myself, I NEED work life balance. Such an offensive human.
This man has just made millions from thousands of bar workers grafting over Christmas and New Year on just above the minimum wage.
The same man who was sunning himself in the Maldives weeks before his company abandoned the real living wage.
#JamesWatt has absolutely no shame.
You have the power to turn someone’s bad day into a better one, or to turn a bad day into a worse one. #Bekind and remember you don’t always know what someone’s going through.
Advice for people getting broadband, don’t go for @virginmedia. Called up multiple times, for over an hour each time, promised calls back/money back, still not sorted and I have still got barely any internet. Waste of money and time. Terrible service.
@NursingNotesUK Also… if you work in A&E or ITU, uniforms like this that you have to take home and wash do not work! I don’t want to bring home what I’m exposed to at work!
@Matthew0sb0rne It’s the most ridiculous decision for ITU nurses to wear a uniform and have to take it home to wash.
Another way for the NHS wasting money on the wrong things.
@NHSuk whoever did make this decision about the National NHS Uniform… come and work a day in ITU. See if you can keep it stain free and not exposed to infections/bodily fluids/everything else we experience. Perhaps consult with those on the floor before making these decisions!
Would love to know who made the decision for a national uniform in the @NHSuk. Great for the wards, terrible idea for Intensive Care. We are exposed to various things that absolutely should not be brought home.
Why do companies think it’s okay to take unauthorised money from you then instead of refunding they’ll put credit on the account…. Like no thanks. You’re just making sure the money goes back to you. @Shurgard sort your customer service out.
