This post depicts the sad reality of being in the middle class.

With the world taking on more debt, the more debt would need to be re-paid. This is fairly common sensical.

Therefore, two things are likely to happen:

[1] Taxes will continue to increase
[2] People taking on more debt (intelligently) will keep building bigger empires. This will lead to greater wealth inequality.

The numbers are already evident: in 2002, top 10% Indians owned national 42% wealth. By 2022, this number is 54%.

People often ask me for solutions.

[1] Invest wisely (grow money faster than real inflation).
[2] Own real assets.
[3] Be contrarian, take big bets in life.
