Glad that @NDTVProfit invited me and asked questions on what AI governance and public-private partnership trends one can fathom from the Pentagon vs Anthropic situation.
Here’s my complete take on this.
While the Trump admin cannot be relied upon to create policy precedents - the incident created a policy precedent:
LLMs remain unreliable.
Lol - there is no other answer than investing in cyber infrastructure more truthfully.
There is no other way than reforming the capacity of NIC.
Antagonise me all you wish to, but an access list doesn’t change anything.
Mythos’ features are not clear and are half-oversold by US government on a funny note. Also shows how many governments wish to do quick fix on cybersecurity. How sad.

The most ideologically committed judge India has ever had. Every single judgement should be overruled. Also a reflection of how flowery English was enough to seduce Indian elites at that time.

What this gave Hero was to work with technology providers from a position of leadership where they weren’t just consumers of tech but co-designers and co-developers.
The iconic Pawan Munjal has shown great appetite on the technology side, becoming an early and patient investor in Ather.
That cultural aspect and its results shows.
Ppl should really stop complaining about brain drain then. If India Inc aren’t interested in local R&D then the more R&D oriented talent will move to shores where it happens and investment is there.
@ni5arga Ethics is a relative word and that's EXACTLY WHY you should define your ethics dear 🥱 Because they aren't clear at the moment. Whether your tech supports oppressive companies or people ...it's not clear. Last I checked, "open source" was meant to aid people not corporations.
This is really intellectually dishonest.
I have not been arguing that LLM token prices are increasing (though the all you can eat buffet is over), I have been arguing the *opposite*, viz that they will go down (e.g., in my recent tweet on commodity pricing that got 1 million views) because there is no moat, and that leaves profitability in doubt.*
You wouldn’t know that from the tweet below, because it completely distorts what I had to say.

*Note also that GPT-5 *did* disappoint; I didn’t make that up. A lot of recent progress (eg Claude Code) comes not scaling but from integrating symbolic tools, as I had longed pushed; the guy below doesn’t even address that part of my argument.)
Tell me folks - if this statement is true, then everyone should scramble around Anthropic? Forever?
Sounds like a business marketing trope and it is ridiculous!
My point still stands: invest in cyber infra.
Offo no: that is BS. Legal awareness is not a luxury to have. There are more than enough pronouncements by judiciary which are pro-enforcement and pro-English reference to binding value.
Civil courts are the problem here. Second, Indians need to start taking mediation as a serious route to solve disputes. And lawyers need to stop overcharging for basic civil law documents.
@cvkrishnan@IndusThink 3. Simple contract enforcement. How does that work? Contracts in general are complicated. Can create heavy handedness. Cannot just bypass legal system. Same
With timely payment. Funds released how to get it back. Have to be Linked to meeting arduous milestones
u need to show sarvam's AI stack getting deployed in 🇮🇳 robotics, evtol, drones, etc ecosystems to get the kind off funding western labs or companies now are getting !! free money is over + the ecosystem of own chip design + mfg firms for AI workloads is the need !!
“I’m interested in the intersection of technology and storytelling, and seeing how that can push the bounds of creativity to create deeper and richer experiences for audiences.”
I read this quote from Martin Scorsese today, and it feels like the closest thing I’ve found to my own life mission.
