@Hsheriffh2o@Be_Believing If this happened in my house, there would be no replacing the TV…ever. I’d probably also get rid of the gaming computer next to the TV as well. I would not need words, just action.
@txsalth2o If it’s soccer that is a special kind of Hell. Cheerleading even worse. Football or wrestling way better. If it’s football or wrestling, I don’t need the other parents to pass the time because I’m watching the practice with great attention.
@credealjunkie 11 is probably too young but socially, the kids need phones, they will have few to no friends. I ask my kids, hey why aren’t you friends with so and so, response, “she doesn’t have social media, so she is not in the group.” Same for young lady I thought my son should I ask out.
@b_co_co It’s a practical decision. My independent mechanic only works on Toyotas and the reliability is unmatched. We are a teacher lead household so money is limited but we need our kids to have transportation to get to work and school, things we also chose wisely.
@kellytx2 We want our parents to move to a retirement community with step up service options. Mom wants/needs to be social. Dad doesn’t want to move. Mom broke both ankles ina fall and later broke her arm. Now she has dementia. This isn’t going to end well.
@realfrugalmogul Yes. I know a few families that did this. They haven’t said they regret it, but they quickly went back to normal life and never talk about that year. One family is even divorced now.
🇺🇸 It once draped the casket of a hero who served.
It is folded 13 times for the 13 colonies.
It is shaped like a triangle for the tricorn hats of the Revolution.
When it’s done, only the blue field and stars show as a reminder of “In God We Trust.”
Over a million Americans died for that flag.
Honor it 🫡🇺🇸
@mikekitchel 1. Indiana pays INDOT staff very poorly.
2. Indiana does not prioritize snow removal.
3. Construction methods & materials inferior.
4. INDOT keeps spending or $ has to be returned to tax payers.
Purdue should research this because the difference in road quality is suspicious
@CoachBeede We avoided events that looked like money grabs and cattle calls. We did 2 D1 camps so son could see difference & see coaches fall over themselves chasing after subpar black players and ignoring much better skilled white players. As an RB, we knew skin color was 1st consideration
@RedWavePress Common. Indiana rules state players can be 19 at state finals for sport but not 20. Ohio requires K enrollment at age 5 and repeating 8th is not allowed. It was a problem when we lived in Ohio and legislature ruled on it. My 14 year old freshman is in class with 16 yr olds
@CultureExploreX Stuff like this happens all the time. Sat through a hurricane football game where we thought if we weren’t all packed into the aluminum stands that the stands would have gone airborne. Port a potties did. Also thought trees behind stand had a high likelihood of falling on us.
@ninja_nick202@Indy_reporter_ Truth. When teaching my teens to drive I used to tell them to not be scared of semis because they are the ones following the rules of the road. It used to be rare for a semi driver to not be a good driver. Can’t tell them that now.
