City-County Councilor for District 21 | Advocate for faith, family, and freedom in Indianapolis | 7th-generation Indy resident, fighting for the next generation
You may have heard that Democrats in Indianapolis want to raise your wheel tax to $100, and they want to blame republicans for it! Keep in mind that democrats have controlled all aspects of city-county government for over a decade. Learn more here: https://t.co/iQ9O98lkws
I spoke on the Senate floor tonight about 23-year-old Brett Scrogham who was senselessly murdered in downtown Indianapolis last week.
He was a bright young man who should still be alive.
I’m praying for his family and loved ones.
@AndrewIrelandIN I think we need to stop calling it “random acts of violence” too… it’s a pattern. Rogue judges and a soft-on-crime prosecutor aren’t random.

Phillip Foust, a Republican candidate for Marion County prosecutor, spoke ahead of tonight’s City-County Council meeting downtown about the push for tougher laws involving teenagers and crime. He described what’s happening in Indianapolis as a crisis involving teen crime.

I can only imagine how many animals and livestock died thanks to this garbage
What if we zoned teachers and school leaders into schools based on their address? Would that have support from folks who think we should zone students into schools based on their address? Why not apply the same logic to educators?
Educators have choice. So should families.
Blah blah blah… the state road funding formula isn’t fair. We get it. Then the @IndyCouncil should realign its priorities and budget to fund the basics—like roads.
One councilor proposed exactly that (Josh Bain). Then every Democrat voted it down. @IndyBain

“It’s unfortunate to hear some folks invoking perceptions of child-like innocence while kids are committing adult-like crimes.
Message to Parents: Get a handle on your kids…if you don’t, we will.” #EnoughIsEnough
