@comic@ActuallyClimber Yeah i agree for the stock to do well, BTC needs to be way higher than 12% CAGR.
I was just saying for the safety of the STRC dividend the CAGR can be lower.
@ActuallyClimber Climb, do you know how the mechanics work with OTC volume vs. 3350? Does the OTC have to buy the next day (later tonight) to have the ticker fully backed by shares? Loving the volume increase, should allow the team to do more accretive dilution this week.
@ActuallyClimber Climb, have you noticed there is a growing disconnect between the OTC price and the 3350 ticker priced in USD? I’m trying to understand what causes that gap and if it will close over time.
@thepowerfulHRV I totally agree that multiples matter. But curious what do you think is a fair multiple? I am struggling to come to a fair valuation.
Let’s say BTC goes to 150k next year, the business will earn roughly 19 Billion in earnings (75k price appreciation x 252k BTC in treasury).
@FundasyInvestor@bill_icon212 Most people look at the high PE and high growth for the industry and automatically assume it’s not a sustainable business. Despite the fact it has industry leading expense ratios that justify the price. Not everyone can have an open mind, don’t let it get to you.
@FundasyInvestor I think another thing that is appealing is it’s a lot cheaper valuation than other public comps like DB.V and GRIN. You would think at some point if the valuation stays low enough they’ll be a take out target.
@FundasyInvestor Sure, but I think given the quality of the business you’re never going to see it trade at a cheap multiple of book value. Not sure what the number should be, but I think it’s fair to say it should trade at a premium to competitors.
