roblox needs to stop sucking up to the government and fight back for once man. they've made a lot of harmful updates recently but this is the first one that i feel will ACTUALLY devastate the platform. this does not stop predators and only pushes away legitimate developers

It looks like Roblox is restricting all games to Ages 16+ by default.

To reach younger players your game needs at least 500 unique age-verified 16+ players in the past 30 days.

Otherwise your game stays locked to Ages 16+

@SiruisSero yeah for sure, and though most of their decisions feel devastating at the time, they can usually fall back from it. this one feels the most detrimental for them in the long run, though, yet feels the least like it's actually doing anything for child safety

@Njbbear yes and they've gone overboard to push child safety, mostly to their detriment, but it makes total sense with their reputation. with this though, it's incredibly silly and if it's required by law you'd think they'd be in court fighting to protect their business model
