@ghost_motley I encounter this daily, the trick is, you mustn't even have that drive open in the explorer while ejecting it, like you have to be in any other drive or my computer while ejecting.
This is my first suspicion for this one, could be for any other reason tho.

Always wanted to design a side-loading rifle like the FG 42, but in a larger caliber such as 20×102mm. I named it PANTHER, it just felt right.

@JonLampel Very counter intuitive. The sense of 3d is that you are still working on paper or the real world, but just inside the screen. The world inside is still flat, up is still up.
Doesn't make sense for there to be differences in the real world and virtual coordinate system.
