BREAKING: The two sacked Bankstown nurses caught on video bragging about letting Jewish patients die are now launching a High Court bid to dodge accountability - and Australian taxpayers are footing the bill.

Former Bankstown Hospital nurses Ahmad Rashad Nadir and Sarah Abu Lebdeh are facing criminal charges for using a carriage service to menace, harass, and offend after a viral Chatruletka video leaked.

In the sickening footage, they allegedly threatened to kill Israeli patients, with Ahmad Nadir explicitly boasting on video that he had already sent Israeli patients straight to “Jahannam” (hell)

Instead of facing a NSW District Court jury for this vile conduct, they are hiding behind a massive constitutional distraction.

They are actually trying to argue that boasting about the death of vulnerable patients under their care is protected “political speech”

When you walk into an Australian hospital, you place your life in the hands of medical professionals. It requires absolute, unconditional trust.

By boasting about causing the deaths of patients based purely on their nationality, these two have shattered the foundational ethics of the entire nursing profession.

To try and rebrand a sickening violation of patient safety as a “constitutional right” is a slap in the face to every hardworking healthcare worker in the country.

And, on top of that, thousands of dollars in taxpayer funded legal aid are being burned to bankroll this absolute farce of a High Court challenge.

If you threaten patients and abuse our healthcare system, you belong in a prison cell, not milking the taxpayer to rewrite our Constitution.
