The Bal Urja Rakshak Dal (#BURD) Phase-II initiative continues to expand across Gujarat, reinforcing the state’s commitment to energy efficiency, resource optimization, and youth-led climate stewardship.

Under the visionary mentorship of @InfoGujcost and @GuvnlOfficial, the program hit an incredible milestone this July, reaching schools across 10 districts:

📍 Amreli, Botad, Devbhumi Dwarka, Gir Somnath, Jamnagar, Kutch, Mehsana, Porbandar, Rajkot, and Surendranagar.

Led by the #DistrictCommunityScienceCenters, this initiative is turning classroom lessons into real-world impact. Through STEM experiments, poster contests, educational skits, rallies, and creative games, students aren't just learning about energy conservation; they are taking charge of it.

By taking a solemn #EnergyPledge and becoming #UrjaRakshaks, these young heroes are showing us that real transformation starts right at home, one switch at a time.

There are five main hepatitis viruses-A, B, C, D, and E, which differ in their transmission, severity, and prevention.

Hepatitis B and C are the leading causes of chronic liver disease, affecting an estimated 304 million people #worldwide and causing around 1.3 million deaths every year.

On 23rd July, 2026, the Bal Urja Rakshak Dal (#BURD) Phase-II mission reached #ShreeChagiyaPrimarySchool in #GirSomnath District!
Initiative driven by @InfoGujcost and @GuvnlOfficial,

BURD is empowering students across Gujarat to step up as proud #UrjaRakshaks.

Students kicked off the day with a high-energy Energy Rally and Interactive Contests including drawing, poster-making, PPT presentations, and a lively energy quiz. They enjoyed a unique Snakes & Ladders game designed to teach practical energy conservation in a fun, accessible way, with a Tree Plantation drive and a collective Energy Pledge to prevent energy waste and protect the planet.

The initiative was led by the #ShriDharmBhaktiDistrictCommunityScienceCentre in Gir Somnath and coordinated by Mr. Dharmeshbhai J. Makani, with great support from School Principal Shri Jesingbhai Vansh and Science Teacher Shri Kakubha Rathod.
