Ch4. Long walks on nature with my dog, books-these things help me refresh on weekdays. On weekends- the ballet, symphony, Alley Theater, Houston Museum of Nature Science, and Fine Art Museum clear my thoughts and give me energy for a new week. @Sunown_e #SEculturize
Ch 3 I give my Gotcha! to Mrs Woodring, who organized Fenway n Hattie book reading. The whole school is now a big book club! Brilliant! And to Mrs Pulido who found a great book of Casas. Thebook makes me think a lot. Iwish I have books like this when I was youngteacher #SEculturize
Ch 2. In the library I see kids who have lost interest in reading and who resist checking out books. Spending more time with these kids n learning about their interests to find the book that they can’t wait to read-this is how I champion allstudents Sundown@Sundown_e #SEculturize
Ch https://t.co/XwqWqHQtNl way to create a positive atmosphere in the library is by talking with kids. To help student to find joy n excitement in reading, to change young generation’s opinion about reading. Thisis one of the ways back to greatness. Sundown@Sundown_e #SEculturize
@MarthaEPulido 16A. I think the most important way is listening to them. Listen and understand. Sometimes, because we have more knowledge and experience, we think that we know better what children need, but it is so important to stop and listen for what the child really needs.@Sumdown_E#SEbus18
@MarthaEPulido 15A. Enthusiastic people make my life better! We have many of them in school. Every morning I get a lot of positive energy. Thanks, guys! As a former teacher, I love to see how many teachers organize the learning process with enthusiasm & warm hearts. God bless!@Sundown_E#SEbus18
@MarthaEPulido 14A. If person loves his/her job, believes in valuable things, wants people to follow them, and takes care of each member of the his/her team, that person is leading with heart. @Sundown_E#SEbus18
@MarthaEPulido 13A. I agree. It’s important to not worry about what other people have done in their lives. We’re all unique, and God has different purposes for each of us. You should want to become a better person and professional, not stay at the same level your whole life. @Sundown_E#SEbus18
@MarthaEPulido 12A. I don’t want to be with anybody who sabotages my work. It is a relief to feel that you don’t have that negativity around you anymore.@Sundown_E#SEbus18
@lemiller33@Sundown_e IA11 I’m learning with George about how to be aware of EV. In my life, I can remember EVs from college. When you had a group project, there were always some students who didn’t work and negatively spoke about those who were actually trying to do something. @Sundown_E#SEbus18
@MarthaEPulido@Sundown_e 10A. One person can’t build the tunnel in the mountain to make a road, but a team can. If you have more confederates and allies surrounding you, your enegy is stronger. With a team you have more support and are closer to the target. @Sundown_E#SEbus18
@MarthaEPulido@Sundown_e A9. I had my shot when 31 kids were qualified to vote for best Bluebonnet Book this year. I motivated 3-5 gr students, I reminded them constantly to read 5-8 BB books, that 20 American writers were waiting for their votes. 31 did it- 10 more then last year! @Sundown_E#SEbus18
@MarthaEPulido@Sundown_e A7. I believe that positive energy can help us face negative events in our lives. Like we say in Russia: “The bad never comes without bringing good things after.” The one good thing that Harvey showed me is how many people with good hearts are around me. @Sundown_E#SEbus18
@MarthaEPulido@Sundown_e 5A. The vision of my job is organizing our library in ways that kids will love to come to and to help our teachers in spreading the virus of loving to read and my passion for books into each and every student in the library. @Sundown_E#SEbus18
@MarthaEPulido@Sundown_e A3. Rule #1 means that you are responsible for your life and taking control of it. I love how we are teaching our students about this. Every morning all the children repeat together: “I’m responsible for my actions, my life, and my future”. @Sundown_E#SEbus18
@MarthaEPulido@Sundown_e 2A. George never rode a bus and all that he can think about is that he has to ride the bus in the next two weeks. He’s frustrated with this and doesn’t hear the good news. He focused on unimportant and the positive news didn’t come to his mind. @Sundown_E#SEbus18
@MarthaEPulido@Sundown_e On my bad day, the person like Joy definitely annoyed me. My first reaction was like George:”What does that stranger know about my problems?”But when I calmed down and think twice, I saw that things were not as bad as they looked and that Joy was nice and tried to give me a hand.
