Every time I tweeted this poem last year, I immediately deleted it, feeling it was too political, too personal or too painful. Today, I’ll leave it here for all those who feel it

I know this clip will be doing the rounds, but regardless of what you think of DC and this whole weird “charade”the question behind his words about our power structures across the board is worthy of our attention https://t.co/QlD7OPkamB

Dominic Cummings says it was "completely crazy" he was in such a senior role, "just the same as it's crackers that Boris Johnson was in there and that the choice at the last general election was Jeremy Corbyn"

@UK_ACEs Totally agree. All I mean is that teachers have a place in the chain of events that can lead to someone even seeing a therapist/counsellor. And Absolutely , schools need easy access to trained therapists..teachers are not therapists.
Completely agree with this. But the bottom line is that recovering/escaping from abuse or trauma can only start when we feel safe and have trust in another. Good teachers are spectacular at building trust and that IS part of the job.
Why are we expecting teachers to deal with the psychological damage caused by abuse? It's like asking your hairdresser to rewire your home. It's a different profession, counsellors are needed in schools to support children who have been abused. https://t.co/bN5jOcXa5x
@chrischirp Good morning ! I hope you perhaps have time to answer my question from yesterday (desperately seeking evidence based truths) about treatment protocol and ivermectin use in U.K..any good sources of information you could signpost me too? Thnx
@Gwynhyfer @MrYesWeCan @BorisJohnson See the film School of Rock! Only we are not in battle of the bands, we are in a battle for our lives and our sanity and our FREEDOM!!!
It’s slightly insane, but @RyanairPress is flying through Belarus airspace as we speak. What are they thinking? There are also question marks on how they handled yesterday.
@chrischirp@HackedOffHugh What about treatment protocols? Where are we at with those in the U.K.? Seeing a lot about Ivermectin but I believe we aren’t using it here? As someone who is nervous about the safety and after reading this thread, th efficacy of my vaccine, I wonder what treatments are around ?

@thosethatcan @AdrianBethune Thanks for the thread...it is interesting to read you say that the “why” is lost...tragic even...I would say that perhaps it had only really just started to (re)emerge & “why” poses a threat to a lot of power structures, as we know..we need to keep it alive!
Have thought this so often in so many contexts ..explains so much about human behaviour, particularly when we find it challenging to parts of ourselves
I loved this frm one of t @TIGERSEYAcad members this afternoon, as we engaged in in-depth reflections on attachment styles:
"I do not know why everyone are not focusing on learning about attachment theory. It is amazing and so helpful."

The thinner tree was cut years ago and the big one has been holding and feeding it since then. They "wake up" together in the spring and "go to sleep" together in the autumn.

Thank you @kimmcguigan2 for sharing this pic, from 2 years ago, with us this morning. Missing is @JulieReid82
We were excited, nervous & taking in the magnitude of our surroundings, & vision, in preparation for our @ACEAwareNation conference with @DrGaborMate@Prev_Justice 🙏
