This clarifies exactly nothing. That notification only applies from 2017. The it Dept is looking at investments from previous years. This clarification is a great way to say something by saying nothing. There is zero dust settling.

#Angeltax...it Dept says ignore dcf valuation and use Net Asset Value method. Most startups have -ve Nav in early years. So how will they ever raise money using this method???
