The Criminal Court
Routinely, videos go viral on social media showing young people being tortured or summarily executed by members of criminal factions.
In many cases, the motivations are trivial: visiting relatives, attending parties in rival communities, or even making gestures supposedly alluding to rival groups in photographs.
In the face of this, what shocks the most is the apathy of the authorities, especially politicians, who fail to mobilize to create legal mechanisms capable of curbing these acts of terror.
It is of utmost urgency that there be firm state intervention to put an end to this practice.
After all, if criminals feel entitled to impose the death penalty, why not make that punishment reciprocal for those who carry it out? https://t.co/tIO5fjmvUt
