With gusty winds expected through Tuesday, here's some safety tips:
🍃 It’s best to stay indoors during high winds.
🍃 If you must drive, keep a safe distance away from other vehicles. Strong wind gusts may blow vehicles off-course. Also, stay clear of box trucks, RVs and other large trucks since they are more susceptible to high winds.
🍃 Stay clear of downed power lines. Avoid anything that may be touching a downed power line including tree branches and vehicles. Also, call 911 and your local energy company to report downed power lines.
🍃 Avoid parking near large trees that could fall on your car.
