Some 2,000 Berlin police officers mobilized to block access to the building, disable the livestream, cut power to the facility, and arrest participants. @GhassanAbuSitt1, who was meant to speak about his experiences as a surgeon in Gaza, was detained at the airport.

This vicious act of repression speaks volumes to Germany's complicity in the genocide in Gaza. It cannot be allowed to stand.

The @Progintl stands in solidarity with the participants, organizers, and those putting their lives and freedoms on the line to oppose the genocide — in Palestine and around the world.
