India doesn't teach kids below 15 how to assemble smartphones. It teaches kids above 16 how to assemble phones in technical colleges like ITI which is part of specialized education. It's also illegal in China for kids below 16 to work in manufacturing jobs and they have automated most of the phone manufacturing with minimum need of humans.
India is the 2nd largest manufacturer of phones in the world btw.
We don't need to teach "kids" how to assemble smartphones. Rather they need to be taught civic sense and national pride🤷🏻

Yes. India was worse than the 3rd world before 1990 by not being aligned to USA and USSR and doing Green revolution and 5 year plans.
