Muy buena entrevista de @jemonleon a Andreu Dotti, el fundador de @innovamat.

En el 2017 nació @innovamat_es y me parece una empresa brutal porque ha nacido para resolver un problema de verdad: que los niños entiendan las matemáticas y no las vivan como una tortura.

En 2025 ya facturaban algo más de 25 millones en 9 países y enseñan a 600.000 alumnos.

Una de las grandes lecciones es el foco. Podrían haber hecho mil asignaturas, pero decidieron ser muy buenos en una sola: matemáticas. Y eso, en emprendimiento, vale oro.

También me encanta que sus fundadores fueran humildes. Sabían matemáticas, sí, pero entendieron rápido que enseñar matemáticas es otra cosa. Por eso se rodearon de expertas de verdad.

Otro aprendizaje enorme es que no han querido sustituir al profesor. Al revés: lo ponen en el centro. @innovamat_es ayuda al maestro a enseñar mejor, con más confianza y mejores herramientas.

Me parece muy potente que no hayan caído en el típico discurso de “todo digital”. Usan tecnología cuando aporta, pero no por postureo. Para aprender de verdad, siguen defendiendo el aula, el diálogo y tocar las cosas.

También han entendido algo clave: vender a colegios no es vender un software y ya está. Es acompañar, formar, escuchar y estar muy cerca. Por eso son más una empresa de servicio que una simple editorial.

Su internacionalización es para quitarse el sombrero. Montar una empresa educativa desde España y llevarla a nueve países, incluido Estados Unidos, no es nada fácil.

Me gusta mucho que no se queden solo en “creemos que funciona”. Están midiendo resultados, haciendo estudios y buscando evidencia real. En educación eso es importantísimo.

Como emprendedores, tienen una cultura muy clara: gente que aprende rápido, que se implica y que siente el proyecto como suyo. Eso explica mucho de lo que han conseguido.

En resumen, @innovamat_es me parece admirable porque no está construyendo una empresa solo para facturar más. Está intentando cambiar algo muy profundo: que los niños entiendan las matemáticas, ganen confianza y aprendan a pensar mejor. Y eso, sinceramente, tiene muchísimo mérito.
