You know what's really making me sick? The oppression of women globally.
Afghanistan women no longer have human rights.
Korean women are fighting incels making deep fake porn of them.
Indian women are being raped and murdered
Nigerian women are fighting to retain the VAPPA.
"[Yunus] is the man of the hour, chosen by the students who spearheaded the entire movement. He commands enormous respect both in the country and in the world. He has been under constant persecution by the previous regime and he could have chosen to leave the country but he never considered that possibility. He has been willing to stand by his own institution and his country, so clearly he is a patriot.” Ahmed Ahsan, a former World Bank economist and a director of the Policy Research Institute in Bangladesh.
“[Yunus's] great strength is his credibility and his profile internationally, particularly in the United States. He can tap into the reservoir of goodwill that exists there and the willingness of the United States to do what it can do to help Bangladesh. He must establish civilian control and supremacy early on and make sure that the army goes back to its normal role of supporting the civilian administration. The new government must have cooperative relations with India as a hostile Indian government could be a spoiler, causing problems for Bangladesh.” Jon Danilowicz, a former US diplomat who spent eight years working in Bangladesh

One of the greatest pains in my life in recent years was not being able to publicly disclose that the son of Mir Quasem Ali, the @BJI_Official leader who had been sentenced to death by the highly controversial International Crimes Tribunal set up by Hasina's regime, and Abdullahil Amaan Azmi, a former military general and the son of Ghulam Azam, former Jamaat-e-Islami chief who had been sentenced to life by the same court — are alive.
Both men were the worst victims of the nuisance that was enforced disappearance, introduced by the Sheikh Hasina regime. The two men were abducted by plainclothes policemen in August 2016 and were kept at a secret detention centre in Dhaka called #Aynaghar since then. They were never presented before the court and their families had no contact with them. Every time someone I knew spotted the two men in Aynaghar, which was located at the premises of the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI), Bangladesh's defence forces' intelligence branch, I would inform Mr Arman’s sister and Mr Azmi’s brother that they were alive. The last I heard of them was in May last year.
This morning, I woke up to the news that the two men had been reunited with their families after the fall of Sheikh Hasina’s government. How cruel do you have to be to detain these people for close to a decade needlessly? Endlessly. I truly believe that Sheikh Hasina will go down in the annals as one of the most brutal dictators of the modern era with Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, Pol Pot, Kim Jong-il and Omar al-Bashir.
No country in the world should grant political asylum to such a person who has committed such atrocities, such grave crimes against humanity. She should be brought back to Bangladesh and brought to trial for all her crimes and treasons — fair and square.

Fake Tweets Alert!
Countless rumors and fake tweets are flooding X (former Twitter), directly inciting against the sovereignty and independence of Bangladesh. Following the coordinators' announcement, every area is forming 'Communal Harmony and National Asset Protection Committees' to safeguard religious sites and public properties. We urge the minority community to post verified information about their localities on social media. Do not fall for provocations without checking; counter misinformation. #ProtectMinorities #ProtectAllFaiths #SafeBangladesh #NationalUnity #CommunalHarmony #HindusAreSafeInBangladesh
The screams of Munshiganj through mosque mikes asking to be saved from BCL -the ruling party's student goons.
Reportedly, 93 dead in Bangladesh, could be more. We urge the world to look at what the fascist is doing to us
STEP DOWN FASCIST HASINA

#ProthomAlo is reporting that a total of 93 people have died today in protests in #Bangladesh , of which 14 were police. A nightmare for which Sheikh Hasina, the prime minister, is ultimately responsible for actively pitting her party activists and police against the protestors.
There's Munshiganj, Sirajganj, Magura, Science lab in Dhaka, Uttara, and an endless amount of places where protesters have been attacked injured and killed.

This is unbearable. Our motherland is bleeding again. The fascist and her cronies won't stop, and they avoid accountability till the very end
STEP DOWN FASCIST HASINA
#BangladeshBleeding@amnesty@AJEnglish@NetraNews
The situation is worse today. People are dropping dead FAST all around Bangladesh Dhaka, Munshiganj, Sirajganj. Several other places under attack by BCL. God please keep my brothers and sisters safe and take these inhumane cunts to you instead.
STEP DOWN FASCIST HASINA
It says there was clash between Pro quota govt student wings (BCL) goons and quota protesters.
It's only a clash when there's equality, not when goons have a license to murder innocent students like they're doing today
STEP DOWN FASCIST HASINA
