I agree !! Doctors need to fight for their patients. They need to all team up together and refuse to treat any DEA members or their families and NOT treat them for any type of pain, even after surgeries. That would solve our problem.

Chronic Pain
I was taken off opioids for 2 yrs, my troponin levels went up 3 times the norm. Pain was horrific. 2 yrs later, I started taken opioids again, my pain dropped. my troponin levels dropped. I have rods/screws in back/neck. 30 years of taking opioids, they work for me.

You know a couple of people who became addicted after being prescribed Oxycontin?
I know thousands that have suffered to the point they want to take their own lives.
A few addicted people are not worth harming thousands who suffer in High Impact Pain. This is Inhumane treatment.

@ravensspirit68 That said, some people do experience a high/euphoria from opiates. Oxycontin was a terrible drug, and did contribute to patient addiction, due to the way it was marketed and pushed. I know a couple of people who became addicted after being prescribed Oxycontin.

The pain community rallied around Pete and got him elected because he promised he would help us get proper pain treatment again. I've talked to him and his staffers many times and have yet seen any help. The elderly and disabled are still suffering .

The CDC guidelines are still harming people suffering in pain. The CDC and our government needs to open their eyes and see the harm they have caused.
What crime did pain sufferers commit anyway?

It's time to realize that opioid pain med prescriptions are NOT the problem. It's illegal drugs!
