Any UK Govt Minister must answer accurately the actual question asked by MPs
By not answering accurately the questions that MPs have asked, the UK Government Ministers are able to avoid accountability. This is bringing the UK Parliament into disrepute. Therefore, the Government ministers must be made to actually answer the questions asked and not be allowed to ignore the question.
Parliament is not holding ministers and Government accountable if they are not made to answer questions asked. They can provide answers that are in fact lying by omission. Questions asked must in future be answered accurately and in full and Ministers must not omit any information no matter how embarrassing. Certain exemptions to the provision of an answer could be allowed if it concerns UK secrets. However an independent review could be required if an exemption is claimed.

@benedictspence be kind to hypocrites like @edwardjdavey. Grok tells me he sent 4 tweets about George Floyd. But grok also tells me that @EdwardJDavey has set well over 50 tweets about the current US president and the actions of the US Government.
@edwardjdavey who is younger than me forgets that AI technology like @grok is excellent at spotting hypocrites who post on X in a matter of a few seconds 🤷♂️
Maybe @edwardjdavey should win the daily Richard Cranium award for hypocrisy
@SBarrettBar The best way to deal with this is put 100% tax on the small number of billionaires funding there activities and 100% tax on all paid protesters
The whole auditorium is silent, holding back tears of sadness and frustration, listening to the testimony of @officialsammyuk about what she had to go through at the hands of migrant grooming gangs in Rotherham, UK, when she was a young teenager.
I am not an emotional man, but this is the hardest thing I have ever listened to. This mass torture inflicted upon so many of our vulnerable girls is truly the most terrible crime in human history.
The biggest shakedown by the politicians to grab our cash and pass that money to companies producing wind mills that kill millions of birds and solar panels made in china. 🇨🇳 large chunks of cash that could be used to pay down debt, reduce taxes and get industries working again with cheap power. Oh and significantly increase jobs, increase tax take from higher unemployment, and finally reduce inflation.
I saw similar tactics at start of Blair Government and witnessed a hospital GM move clinics from one hospital to another further away, but in the same Trust, in the knowledge that most elderly patients would cancel appointments at the other location because as the GM said, “it is the other side of the world to most elderly patients and they won’t want to travel there”. As we approached the end of the reporting period, they also took patients off the waiting lists and kept a record on a spreadsheet, then added them back in the new reporting period so reports of the official waiting lists showed a drop, the spreadsheet patients were not counted.
I wrote that up in a whistleblower report and some GMs were ‘moved’ and an Executive Director took early retirement.
Don’t worry, I lived in Saudi Arabia where it is not unusual to have 3 months of temperature above 40C every day. I have played golf in the desert near Riyadh.
I am sure the met office will be compiling day time temperatures over the weekend from all those mythical weather stations that closed in the last decade. Especially having to admit they made up the figures. 😂
It is about time politicians were stopped doing these stunts which are propaganda and became more serious in approach to running UKPLC.
Giving free ( tax payers still on hook for
£ 100 m ) bus travel can apply to big cities, but in towns and villages in the countryside where there may be one bus a day, or in some places one bus a week, that is just stupid and will not help those people at all.
What people want is actual reduction in cost of living, gimmicks they seriously do not want
Make politicians personally liable for spending decisions that go wrong. Also, include permanent secretaries of departments and extend their personal liability if they cannot properly account for money in their department, to include the liability for bad decision making. NAO could audit not just the accounting aspects of a department but also the bad decision making and calculate the financial liability of ministers and senior civil servants.
@SBarrettBar It is a determination by the Fabian left to screw the UK. Just like the left want to do the same to the USA. If you follow the money back to the left wing funders, you will probably find a name of Soros. The aim is to implement Agenda 2030.
@blonschki@PeterBleksley@colinsutton Personally I believe these politicians should face misconduct in public office. Private prosecution is possible in my opinion.
@Ben_Bradley_32@AllisonPearson What they both did was a breach the school’s legal duties under the Education Act 1996 (Sections 406 and 407) if the visit is handled in a way that promotes partisan political views without ensuring balance
