So, thinking back, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal is basically about an ultra rich Ranbir Kapoor who has daddy issues because his dad, Anil Kapoor, barely spends any time with him. Naturally, he grows up to become an extremely violent maniac.

Then he gets married, cheats on his wife & becomes an even worse father himself. He is constantly on some mission to hunt down people trying to kill his father, while being practically non existent for his own kids.

Basically, he spent his whole childhood complaining that his dad was never around, only to grow up & say, “Let me show you, kids, you how it is actually done.”
