Dearest readers…
It has come to this author’s attention, through a most concerning collection of screenshots, that a certain individual within our community has been making repeated references to sexual orientation in a deeply derogatory manner, carelessly throwing around slurs and remarks that have no place within a respectable competitive scene.
Yet the matter appears even more troubling still. The same individual is said to have engaged in persistent bullying of fellow players and, most astonishingly, has even spoken of driving about in search of another player’s home with the intention of causing harm. One must ask, dear readers… what manner of conduct is this meant to be?
Should such behaviour truly be tolerated within our community?
Competitive banter, spirited rivalries, and heated matches are all well and expected in the world of esports. But slurs aimed at one’s identity, coupled with intimidation and threats, can hardly be dismissed as “banter.”
If the CoDZA scene wishes to grow and be taken seriously, perhaps the time has come for the community to stand firmly against such toxicity and ensure that respect remains as important as skill within our lobbies.
Ever watchful,

@GoPro@Slayerdrink Smoke and mirrors dear readers…
And before the PR statements and such are released, the true reason for Cayden’s ban seem to not be this behavior… but rather this clip…

nd thus the story continues. Reports show that the player Heroz is not simply targeting males in the scene, it is reported he is not fond of females in the scene either.
Reports show that Heroz is currently serving a one year warning issued by Mettlestate December last year due to his aggressive behavior towards a female participant at a LAN EVENT.
Reports and screenshots have also shown him threatening women in the scene, one female even to the point of telling him she will apply for a restraining order against him should he not leave her alone…
I wonder readers, is this the behavior @HighBorn_GG seeks to cover up?
Or simply that @Slayerdrink , @TechDomain_Za , @_InternetPlug and @GoPro are quite smitten with having players with rather short tempers and threatening behaviors representing their brands?

@CBHeroz was Banned last year from @AfricanGaming for 6 month for his comment in 2024 while playing under @Aerial_Gaming_ he was also removed from @HighBornGG payroll for 12 months because of this and they had to pick up @Skeamz_ to represent them last year. @CBHeroz was a bystander at the MTN Shift Lan in 2025.
As our latest investigation both Sponsors @Slayerdrink and @GoPro are aware and took internal action, we were not given comment as to what that entails.
This is all very public knowledge within the scene, we are confused as to the intentions behind this new account.

This author must, with some reluctance, beg to differ with the response presently circulating, for it appears to reveal rather clearly who may be speaking before the facts have been properly examined… and perhaps even who may be speaking on whose behalf.
As many attentive observers will recall, Heroz was seen upon the stage representing Highborn and its sponsors a mere few months after his ban from ACGL. Which would suggest, dear readers, that the claim he had been entirely removed from payroll may not be quite as accurate as some would have us believe.
One is therefore compelled to ask a rather simple question… has @Esports_WatchZA now been added to the payroll as well?
And perhaps more curiously still, did @Slayerdrink and @GoPro truly know all of this from the beginning?
For if that is indeed the case, one might reasonably wonder whether such silence could be interpreted as acceptance of the homophobic remarks and bullying that have recently come to light.
Questions, dear readers, often reveal far more than answers.

Dearest readers…
This author finds himself in agreement with those who have observed that telling another individual to take their own life is hardly any different from the deeply insensitive remarks that surfaced in yesterday’s incident involving illness. Both, one might argue, belong far beyond the boundaries of acceptable conduct within our community.
Yet what this author finds most curious is not merely the behaviour itself, but the chorus of voices that rose so loudly in condemnation yesterday… while some among them appear to reside in rather delicate glass houses of their own.
Perhaps, dear readers, the time has come for a touch more honesty within our scene, for those who speak the loudest against wrongdoing to also reflect upon their own words and actions?
One cannot help but wonder what further truths may surface should the community begin looking a little closer.
Yours ever observant,

Dearest readers of the CoDZA competitive scene…
A new platform has arrived upon the block, one devoted to observing the whispers, scandals, and curious happenings within our beloved community. Consider this your introduction to CoDZA Insider, where the lobbies speak and this author listens.
And what a most dramatic beginning it appears to be.
Word has reached this publication that a certain player has recently found themselves banned after directing deeply insensitive remarks toward another individual’s battle with cancer, a line, dear readers, that many believe should never be crossed, no matter how heated the rivalry.
Yet this raises a most curious question within the community. What exactly fuels these public clashes? Is it matters of the heart, whispered rivalries, or simply the fragile nature of competitive egos that drives players to turn upon one another so fiercely?
And perhaps more intriguingly… are we witnessing the start of something far greater?
Will the scene now come forward in full force, exposing past misdeeds long buried beneath the surface of scrims and tournaments?
Or is this merely the first chapter in what may become a rather lengthy list of future bans?
One thing is certain, the lobbies are talking. And this author will be listening.
Yours faithfully,
