The conference of the Somali National Consultative Council on the Future of Somalia formally concluded this evening, following comprehensive consultations and in-depth, constructive deliberations among its members. During the course of the discussions, the Council collectively addressed key matters of strategic importance to the nation’s future. The meeting culminated in a consensus to issue an official communiqué, presented below, which reflects the decisions reached and the shared outlook of the Council.

Today in Djibouti, I handed over five new vehicles to the Djibouti Postal Service, with support from @AfDBgroup.
This is a strategic investment to strengthen Member State capacity — improving last-mile delivery, enhancing service efficiency, and supporting the digital postal marketplace that will open new opportunities for our people.
