In September, this was my opening argument in a debate with Eric Metaxas. Now, in late October, it's my closing argument. Christians, do not vote for Donald Trump. He's a cruel man who has failed America: https://t.co/XhjlbYcIC3
Please, can we take a step back and look at the structure of the 2024 presidential race?
A man found liable for sexual assault that the judge called “rape” is the Republican nominee.
A man convicted of 34 felonies and is running for president out on bail is the Republican nominee. In most states he couldn’t vote for himself.
A man who was very close to Jeffery Epstein is the Republican nominee.
"I've known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side."
A man who promises to hold a “military tribunal” to prosecute the daughter of a former Republican V.P. for treason, punishable by death, is the Republican nominee.
A man who considers church a place to go every fifteen years or so to marry a model is running against a devout Catholic.
This is an easy race to win. Don’t over complicate it. Trump won one election with 46.2 %. The man who beat him is the incumbent President of the United States with the best record of any first term post-WW2 presidents, the man more Americans voted for than any candidate in American history.
Don’t fall into the trap of beating yourself. Be confident. We are right and they are wrong. There are more of us than them.
Stay together and focus on the evil of Donald Trump. On bad days, work harder. On good days, work harder. Be steady, relentless, focused. Support each other.
Make history. Defend the American Experiment. Defend the legacy of the Greatest Generation.
Don’t let Donald Trump steal America. Not on our watch. Put aside differences for another day and hold the line. This is bigger than any of us.
Victory is out there, waiting. Go out and take it. And the rest of our lives we will know we were there when America needed us.
@TheRickWilson THIS is what passes for VP credentials now? I know, I know I shouldn’t be appalled anymore, but doesn’t blatant blood and gore imagery as resume building cross yet another line?
@ErickaAndersen@WSJ This is exactly the thoughtful examination of issues around IVF I’ve been seeking. I’ve heard mocking views of both sides—“those conceived embryos aren’t babies” vs “if you can’t conceive naturally, you’re not meant to have babies.” Thanks for a life affirming article.
So, finally, the truth. @NoLabelsOrg has lied about their intentions (more on that below). But now they admit it - they want to force a contingent election. That's the worst way of electing Trump imaginable. Please read this @NBCNews story and this short🧵
@NicolleDWallace@AWeissmann_@Timodc You could invite Tim on your show every day and l’d be able to manage a few more snickers amidst all the surreal political antics. He both shares and reduces my hand wringing.
@Timodc I love the way you made yourself stand and confront her when your body was recoiling until you could finally get away. Just an absolute lion’s den act of journalism. I pay attention whenever I hear your voice on MSNBC and the Bulwark. Kudos and thanks!
What the media won’t tell you: Joe Biden already BEAT Donald Trump in 2020 with the youngest, most diverse coalition of voters ever. Mark my words: Joe Biden & Kamala Harris will do it again—& even better in 2024.
I joined MSNBC to talk about why polls are wrong. Watch & share👇
@NoLieWithBTC FYI— for those blissfully unaware: Promise Keepers group evolved into men keeping each other accountable to Not view porn. Like Weight Watchers weigh ins. It’s an evangelical thing that started with purity in mind.
1. The money goes to vetted non-profits to pay for food and medicine without ever entering Iranian government hands
2. None of it has even been spent yet anyway
Some might say “truth matters.”
